PARTS
BEFORE USE
• Clean thoroughly before first use.
• Fill the water tank and operate several times before first use.
OPERATION
• Place on a flat, level, stable surface.
• Plug the unit into the mains and turn on the power switch.
The red LED indicator will illuminate.
• Place a receptacle on the rack and press the on button.
After a short period, the LED will turn green.
• Press the on button to dispense the water.
Press the off button to stop the flow of water.
• The unit will cut out when there is insufficient water. At this
point the green LED indicator will turn red. Turn off the
power switch to automatically prevent water from being
dispensed when the water tank is re-filled.
• When the water overflow tray is full, allow the water to cool
before removing the tray and pouring away. Always re-attach
the water overflow tray before continuing use.
Rubber Water Outlet Plug
(Located underneath the unit)
• Fill the water tank with water ensuring the water level
does not go above the “ AX” line indicated on the scale.
ASSEMBLY
• Attach the water overflow tray beneath the water
spout ensure it is correctly located over the clips
and place the metal rack on top of the tray.
• Once filled, attach the water tank ensuring it fits
securely to the main body.
WARNING
• Before first use, check to ensure the voltage indicated on the unit corresponds to
the voltage of your home.
• Before first use, ensure you tighten the rubber water outlet plug on the base of the
unit.
• Before use, check all parts, including the power cable, for damage before use. Do
not use if damaged in any way.
• Do not operate the unit if the water is below the minimum level
as this will cause damage to the heating element.
• Keep away from heat sources and naked flames.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the work surface or touch
any hot surfaces.
• Do not put the unit into a refrigerator.
• For indoor, domestic use only.
• Keep away from children. Do not allow children to play with
the unit.
• Do not touch hot surfaces of the unit or the water spout when
in use.
• During use, do not block the steam outlet (located on main body beneath the lid).
• Take care when opening the water tank as hot steam may escape.
• Do not fill the water jug with any other liquid other than water.
• Do not fill the water jug above the maximum level or allow it to go below the
minimum level.
• This unit should only be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, providing they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• The unit is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
CLEANING
• Always switch off, unplug from the mains and allow to cool
before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the unit in any liquid.
• Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
• Wash the water tank in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before use.
• Do not use any abrasive scourers or abrasive cleaning agents.
• De-scale the unit monthly, using a non-toxic detergent or citric acid. Add some
detergent or citric acid into the water, operate the unit at least three times to
descale. Rinse thoroughly before
re-using. Including flushing through the reservoir. Remove the rubber stopper plug
at the base of the unit and empty any residue water. Replace rubber stopper plug
securely.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of all paper, cartons and plastic in accordance with your local recycling
regulations. At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it at an authorised
household waste recycling centre.
