WARNING
• Before first use, check to ensure the voltage indicated on the unit corresponds to
the voltage of your home.
• Before first use, ensure you tighten the rubber water outlet plug on the base of the
unit.
• Before use, check all parts, including the power cable, for damage before use. Do
not use if damaged in any way.
• Do not operate the unit if the water is below the minimum level
as this will cause damage to the heating element.
• Keep away from heat sources and naked flames.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the work surface or touch
any hot surfaces.
• Do not put the unit into a refrigerator.
• For indoor, domestic use only.
• Keep away from children. Do not allow children to play with
the unit.
• Do not touch hot surfaces of the unit or the water spout when
in use.
• During use, do not block the steam outlet (located on main body beneath the lid).
• Take care when opening the water tank as hot steam may escape.
• Do not fill the water jug with any other liquid other than water.
• Do not fill the water jug above the maximum level or allow it to go below the
minimum level.
• This unit should only be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, providing they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• The unit is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
CLEANING
• Always switch off, unplug from the mains and allow to cool
before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the unit in any liquid.
• Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
• Wash the water tank in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before use.
• Do not use any abrasive scourers or abrasive cleaning agents.
• De-scale the unit monthly, using a non-toxic detergent or citric acid. Add some
detergent or citric acid into the water, operate the unit at least three times to
descale. Rinse thoroughly before
re-using. Including flushing through the reservoir. Remove the rubber stopper plug
at the base of the unit and empty any residue water. Replace rubber stopper plug
securely.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of all paper, cartons and plastic in accordance with your local recycling
regulations. At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it at an authorised
household waste recycling centre.
