the operation of your new Easy Use Home Phone.

ENSURE THERE IS SUFFICIENT DISTANCE BETWEEN THIS APPLIANCE AND OTHER ITEMS ON
THE WORK SURFACE OR WORK STATION, OR SUFFICIENT DISTANCE BETWEEN THE
APPLIANCE AND THE CONFINES OF THE AREA IN WHICH IT IS SITUATED. WE RECOMMEND A
MINIMUM CLEARANCE AROUND ALL FACES OF AT LEAST 10CM.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
1. Remove the unit from the box.
2. Remove any packaging from the product.
3. Please retain all packaging until you have checked and counted all the parts and the contents
against the parts list.
Installing/Replacing Batteries:
To install/replace the batteries, open the battery cover located in the back of the unit and insert four
AA batteries (not included). Please note the correct positioning (+ and -). Batteries provide the
power for backlight of LCD display.
Menu:
In the on hook mode, hold [SET] key for 3seconds, LCD will display ”SET 1 DATE”. Choose the menu
by pressing [UP]/[DOWN], and press [SET] to enter the desired menu setting.
Set date and time:
When the LCD displays “SET 1 DATE”, press [SET] to set the date and time. Press [UP]/[DOWN] to
change digit(s). Press [SET] to confirm. Set the date and time one by one.
Set area code:
When the LCD displays “SET 2 CODE”, press [SET]. The LCD will display “CODE----”. Press [SET] again
to edit the area code number. Choose the desired number by pressing [UP]/[DOWN]. Press [SET] to
confirm.
Set Prefix code:
The Prefix code is used with internal PBX (Private Branch Exchange) for a company. The function is
not available for a home telephone network.
Set auto IP:
The IP is a specified number provided by your telecom company to help you use their internet to
make calls. Please contact your telecom company for further details.
When the LCD display “SET 4 AUTO IP”, press [SET]. The LCD will display “AUTO IP OFF”. Enable the
auto IP by pressing [UP]/[DOWN], then press [SET] again and the LCD will display “INPUT CODE”.
Now, you can input the IP code using the number keys.
When auto IP is enabled, the IP numbers stored will be added automatically when you dial the
phone numbers beginning with 0.

Set LCD:
When the LCD displays “SET 5 LCD”, press [SET]. The LCD will display “LCD 3”. You can choose the
desired contrast level by pressing [UP]/[DOWN].

OPERATION IN ON HOOK MODE
Checking incoming call:
Press [DOWN]. The LCD will display incoming calls. Press [UP]/[DOWN] to review incoming calls.
Dial out on incoming call review:
When reviewing incoming calls, press [RD] can dial out the number showing on the LCD. Press [RD]
(Redial) twice can dial out with “0”at first.
Checking outgoing call:
Press [OUT], then press [UP]/[DOWN] to review outgoing calls. Also you can press [RD] to dial out a
selected number.
Ring volume adjustment:
Switch Ring HI/LO in on hook mode. This will adjust the ring volume, there are 2 levels to choose
from.
OPERATION IN OFF HOOK MODE
Review incoming/outgoing call:
In the off hook mode, incoming/outgoing calls can be also reviewed by [UP], [DOWN] and [OUT].
Music on hold:
In the off hook condition, user can initiate the HOLD mode by pressing [HOLD]. After application,
there are three ways to return to original mode.
1. Press the “Hang-up”button, the music will stop and return to handset mode.
2. Press the [HOLD] button, the music will stop and return to handset mode.
3. Press the [Hands-free] button, the music will stop and return to handset mode.
One-touch speed dial buttons
In the on hook mode. Enter the desired number. Press [SET], then press [M1], [M2], [M3] to store a
number. The stored number on these three buttons can be speed dialed.

CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Do NOT immerse in water.
Do NOT use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean this appliance.
Wipe surfaces with a soft dry cloth.
Allow to dry thoroughly before further use.
Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
BATTERIES
•Keep batteries away from children and pets.
•Do not mix used and new batteries.
•Remove the batteries if left for long periods.
•Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
•Battery disposal, spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in
compliance with local regulations. For detailed information, contact your local authority.
•Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
DISPOSAL
•Dispose of all packaging, paper, cartons and plastic, plastic bags in accordance with your
local recycling regulations.
•At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it at an authorised household WEEE
waste recycling centre.
