Specialised companies that are qualified to do
so by the manufacturer must carry out service
and repairs includin repairin and chan in
the power cord. Accessory par s supplied by
hem should be used only for repairing. O herwise
he appliance can be damaged or can cause o her
damage or injury.

plug is removed from he socke . Before cleaning

Controllin the temperature, settin
The hermos a ic con roller in errup s he opera ion of
he appliance au oma ically for more or less ime
depending on he se ing hen res ar s i assuring he
required empera ure.
Turning he con rol bu on owards he bigger numbers
cooling becomes more and more in ensive.
Se ing he knob of he hermos a ic con rol o 3 he

compar men is abou +5 °C or below. The 3 posi ion
generally mee s he requiremen s of everyday cooling.

In he maximum i.e. 5 posi ion - in case of
increased demand e.g. during hea waves - he
compressor may opera e con inually. This does no
cause damages o he appliance.

Stora e time and temperature of foods
The s orage ime can no be de ermined exac ly in
advance, as i depends on he freshness and handling
of he cooled food. Tha is why he s orage ime made
known is only informa ive.
If you do no wan o use up deep-frozen foods bough
immedia ely hey can be s ored for abou 1 day (un il
dissolving) in his ype of refrigera or. If he deep-
frozen food has already dissolved, refreezing is no
recommended, i has o be used up as soon as
possible.
How to use the coolin compartment
Developing in erior air circula ion is necessary
for adequa e cooling. For his reason you are
asked no o cover he whole surface of he wire
shelves wi h paper, rays, e c.
Do not put hot food into the refri erator.
Allow it to reach room temperature naturally.
In this way unnecessary frost buildin up can be
avoided.
Foods can take over odours from each
other. So it is essential to put foods in
closed dishes or wrap them in cellophane,
aluminium foil, rease-proof paper or clin film
before placin them into the refri erator. This way
foods will keep their moisture e. . ve etables will
not dry out after some days.

wa er ou le when you pu food wrapped in some
paper in o he appliance and his paper con ac s back
pla e of cooling compar men and freezes o i . If you
remove he food righ a his momen he paper will
ear and i can cause clogging up in he ou le by
ge ing in o i . So you are asked o be careful -
because of he above - when placing foods wrapped
in paper in o he appliance.
In case of increased demand e.g. during
hea waves, he refrigera or emporarily happens
o opera e cons an ly - during his he au oma ic
defros ing is ineffec ive.
Remaining small ice and fros s ains on back pla e of
he cooling compar men af er defros ing period is no
abnormal.
Re ular cleanin

refrigera or in 3-4 weeks ime.
Household cleaner or soap mus no be used.
