Precautions for child safety
Do not a ow chi dren to p ay with the packaging
of the app iance. P astic foi can cause
suffocation.
Adu ts must hand e the app iance. Do not a ow
chi dren to p ay with it or its contro ing parts.
If you are discarding the app iance pu the p ug
out of the socket, cut the connection cab e (as
c ose to the app iance as you can) and remove
the door to prevent p aying chi dren to suffer
e ectric shock or to c ose themse ves into it.
Safety precautions for
installation
Put the app iance to the wa to avoid touching or
catching warm parts (compressor, condenser)
to prevent possib e burn.
When moving the app iance take care of the p ug
not to be in the socket.
When p acing the app iance take care not to
stand it on the power cord.
Adequate air circu ation shou d be around the
app iance, acking this eads to overheating. To
achieve sufficient venti ation fo ow the
instructions re evant to insta ation.
For the safety of life and property keep
the precautions of these user's
instructions as the manufacturer is not
responsible for dama es caused by omission.
General safety precautions
Keep these instructions and they shou d remain at
the app iance when moving away or changing
owner.
This app iance is designed for storing food,
domestic use and being used according to these
instructions on y.
Specialised companies that are qualified to do
so by the manufacturer must carry out service
and repairs includin repairin and chan in
the power cord. Accessory parts supp ied by
them shou d be used on y for repairing. Otherwise
the app iance can be damaged or can cause other
damage or injury.
The app iance is out of circuit on y in that case if the
p ug is removed from the socket. Before c eaning
and maintenance a ways unp ug it (do not get it by
the cab e). If the socket is difficu t to reach, switch
off the app iance by cutting off the current.
Power cord must not be engthened.
Make sure that the power plu is not squashed
or dama ed by the back of the frid e/freezer.
- A damaged power p ug may overheat and cause a
fire.
Do not place heavy articles or the
frid e/freezer itself on the power cord.
- There is a risk of a short circuit and fire.
Do not remove the power cord by pullin on its
lead, particularly when the frid e/freezer is
bein pulled out of its niche.
- Damage to the cord may cause a short-circuit, fire
and/or e ectric shock.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be rep aced
by a certified service agent or qua ified service
personne .
If the power plu socket is loose, do not insert
the power plu .
- There is a risk of e ectric shock or fire.
Without the amp cover of interior ighting you must
not operate the app iance.
When c eaning, defrosting, taking out frozen food
or ice tray do not use sharp, pointed or hard
devices, as they can cause damage to the
app iance.
Be carefu not to a ow iquids to the temperature
contro and ighting box.
Ice and ice-cream can cause hurt if they are eaten
immediate y after remova from the frozen food
compartment.

After disso ving frozen food must not be refrozen,
it must be used up as soon as possib e.
Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with
the frozen food manufacturer's instructions.
You must not make defrosting faster with any
e ectric heating app iance or chemica s.
Do not put hot pot to the p astic parts.
Do not store f ammab e gas and iquid in the
app iance, because they may exp ode.
Do not store carbonated drinks, bott ed drinks
and bott ed fruits in the frozen food
compartment.
Check and c ean the out et of me ting water
coming during defrosting regu ar y - a abe inside
the app iance warns you for this. If it is c ogged
the me ting water gathered can cause ear ier
fai ure.

General information
The officia designation of the app iance is home
refrigerator with a four-star frozen food compartment.
According to this the app iance is suitab e for storing
frozen and deep-frozen food, freezing products in
imited quantity at home and making ice.
The app iance can meet the requirements of
standards between different temperature imits
according to the c imate c ass.

Handlin the appliance
Puttin it into use
P ace the accessories into the refrigerator then p ug to
the mains socket. To start coo ing turn the contro dia
on the right-hand side of the fresh food compartment
from 0 c ockwise according to the figure. In 0
position the app iance is out of operation.
The next paragraph wi give instructions for setting.
Controllin the temperature, settin
The thermostatic contro er interrupts the operation of
the app iance automatica y for more or ess time
depending on the setting then restarts it assuring the
required temperature.
Turning the contro button towards the bigger numbers
coo ing becomes more and more intensive.
In the frozen food compartment -18 °C or ower
temperature can be reached if the knob of the
thermostatic contro is set to 3. In this case the
temperature starting automatica y in the fresh food
compartment is about +5 °C or be ow. The 3
position genera y meets the requirements of everyday
coo ing.
The temperature coming about in the refrigerator is
effected by not on y the position of the thermostatic
contro but the ambient temperature, frequency of
door openings and the quantity of food put into it
new y, etc.
In the maximum i.e. 5 position - in case of
increased demand e.g. during heatwaves -
without disconnecting continuous operation can
occur. This does not cause damages to the app iance.

consideration the sketch be ow in figure:

Stora e time and temperature of
foods
The enc osed charts at the end of the user's
instructions give information about storage time in the
frozen and the fresh food compartment.
The storage time can not be determined exact y in
advance, as it depends on the freshness and hand ing
of the coo ed food. That is why the storage time made
known is on y informative.
It is safe to store quick-frozen food on y that way if they
were not disso ved even for a short time unti p acing
them into the frozen food compartment.
How to use the four-star frozen food
compartment
Depending on the position of the thermostatic contro
-18 °C or ower can be kept here.
At this temperature for a certain time deep-frozen
products avai ab e on the market can be stored. It is
a so suitab e for freezing and storing sma er quantity
of fresh food.
In 24 hours' time approximate y 2 kgs of food can be
frozen.
Pack the foods tight y in p astic or a uminium foi , coo
them in the fresh food compartment and then p ace to
the frozen food compartment.
It is recommended to write the date on it when it was
p aced in.
You can put the next product to be frozen into the
frozen food compartment if the previous one has
a ready been frozen thorough y.
How to use the fresh food
compartment
For adequate coo ing deve oping interior air
circu ation is necessary. For this reason you are
asked not to cover the who e surface of the wire
she ves with paper, trays, etc.
Do not put hot food into the refri erator.
Allow it to reach room temperature naturally.
In this way the unnecessary frost buildin up can
be avoided.
Foods can take over odours from each
other. So it is essential to put foods in
closed dishes or wrap them in cellophane,
aluminium foil, rease-proof paper or clin film
before placin them into the refri erator. This way
foods will keep their moisture e. . ve etables will
not dry out after some days.
How to make ice cubes
To make ice cubes fi the enc osed ice cube tray
with water and put it to the frozen food
compartment. Wetting the bottom of the tray and
setting thermostatic contro knob to maximum
stage can shorten preparing time. After finishing do
not forget to reset the thermostatic contro to the
suitab e stage.
Ready ice cubes can be taken out of the tray under
running water then twist or hit it.
Some useful information and
advice
The variab e she ves are worth paying
attention to, which increases the usefu ness
of the fresh food compartment considerab y.
Rearranging the she ves is a so possib e when the
door is open at an ang e of 90°.
The inside configuration of the door makes
rearranging the door she ves as required possib e.

How to save ener y
The co der the ambient temperature of the
app iance is the ess energy it uses.
Avoid putting the app iance in a sunny p ace and
near anything that gives off heat.
Be sure that the condenser and the compressor
are we venti ated. Do not cover the sections
where venti ation is.
Wrap products in tight y c osing dishes or c ing
fi m to avoid bui ding up unnecessary frost.
Do not eave the door open onger than
necessary and avoid unnecessary openings.

When c osing the door of the frozen food
compartment take care to move its bo t in the
direction of the arrow to fit it to the ock proper y.
Put foods into the app iance on y in a c osed dish.
Put warm foods into the app iance on y when they
are at room temperature.
Keep the condenser c ean at the back of the
app iance.
The appliance and environment
This app iance does not contain gasses which cou d
damage the ozone ayer, in either its refrigerant circuit
or insu ation materia s. The app iance sha not be
discarded together with the urban refuse and rubbish.
Avoid damaging the coo ing unit, especia y at the rear
near the heat exchanger. Information on your oca
disposa sites may be obtained from your municipa
authorities.

Maintenance
Defrostin
B eeding part of the moisture of coo ing chamber in
form of frost and ice goes with the operation of the
refrigerator.
Thick frost and ice has an insu ating effect, so it
reduces coo ing efficiency as the temperature
increases, it needs more energy, at a certain
thickness it does not a ow the door of the frozen food
compartment to open, possib y the door can be
broken.
At this type of app iance defrosting fresh food
compartment is automatic without any externa
intervention.
The thermostatic contro interrupts the operation of
compressor at regu ar interva s for more or ess time -
during this coo ing is interrupted - temperature of the
fresh food compartment increases and defrosting
occurs. After defrosting the thermostatic contro
restarts operation of the system.
Me ting water f ows through defrost water out et into
the evaporative tray maintained on the top of
compressor and evaporates due to warmth of it.
Check and clean the outlet of meltin
water comin durin defrostin re ularly. If
it is clo ed the meltin water athered can
cause earlier failure as it can o to the insulatin
of the appliance.
C ean the me ting water out et with the supp ied pipe
scraper that can be seen in the figure. The pipe
scraper has to be stored in the out et.
Occasiona y check defrost water out et not to be
c ogged up.

The most typica case of c ogging up in the defrost
water out et when you put food wrapped in some
paper into the app iance and this paper contacts back
p ate of fresh food compartment and freezes to it. If
you remove the food right at this moment the paper
wi tear and it can cause c ogging up in the out et by
getting into it. So you are asked to be carefu
- because of the above - when p acing foods wrapped
in paper into the app iance.
In case of increased demand e.g. during
heatwaves, the refrigerator temporari y happens
to operate constant y. During this the automatic
defrosting is ineffective.
Remaining sma ice and frost stains on back p ate of
the fresh food compartment after defrosting period is
not abnorma .
The frozen food compartment can not be equipped
with automatic defrosting set since the deep-frozen
and frozen foods do not endure me ting temperature.
So the enc osed p astic scraper is for scraping off and
removing frost and ice coating which possib y occurs
in the frozen food compartment and on the sea ing of
the door.
The tray in figure is not a piece of accessories to the
app iance!
When ice coating is so thick that it can not be removed
with the p astic scraper, the frozen food compartment
has to be defrosted (genera y 2-3 times a year).
Take the foods out of the frozen and fresh food
compartment, wrap them into some ayers of paper or
c oth. Put them to a possib e coo p ace whi e
defrosting.
Break the circuit of the app iance and eave the doors
of frozen and fresh food compartment open.
Continuous y b ot off the defrosting water by a soft
c oth or sponge.
After defrosting wipe the surfaces, app y vo tage to the
app iance and put the foods back to their p aces.
It is recommended to operate the app iance at the
highest position of the thermostatic contro so that it
can reach the proper storing temperature as soon as
possib e.
Re ular cleanin
It is recommended to wash the inside of the
refrigerator in 3-4 weeks time.
Househo d c eaner or soap must not be used.
After you made it no-current wash the app iance using
ukewarm water and wipe it.
C ean the magnet door rubber profi e with c ean water.
After c eaning p ug the app iance to the mains socket.

It is practica to c ean and defrost the frozen food
compartment at a time and when it is empty.
Dust and dirt co ected on the back of the refrigerator,
condenser is recommended to be removed and c ean
the evaporative tray on top of the compressor once or
twice a year.
When the refri erator is not in use
In case the app iance wi not be used for a ong time
fo ow these steps:
Break the circuit of the app iance.
Remove foods from the refrigerator.
Defrost and c ean it as written before.
Leave the door open to avoid a bui d up of air inside.
Trouble shootin
How to chan e the bulb
Shou d the ight fai to work you can change it as
be ow:
Break the circuit of the app iance.
Unscrew the p ate screw fixing the amp cover, then
take the amp cover off in the direction of arrow and
the bu b can be changed. (Type of the bu b: Mignon
322, 230 V, 15 W, E 14 thread)
After changing bu b rep ace the amp cover, screw the
p ate screw and app y vo tage to the app iance.
The ack of ight does not inf uence operation of the
refrigerator.
If somethin does not work
During operation of the app iance some sma er but
annoying troub e can often occur, which does not
require ca ing a technician out. In the fo owing chart
information is given about them to avoid unnecessary
charges on service.
We draw your attention that operation of app iance goes
with certain sounds (compressor- and circu ating
sound). This is not troub e, but means norma
operation.
We draw it to your attention again that the
app iance operates discontinuous y, so the
stopping of compressor does not mean being no-
current. That is why you must not touch the e ectrica
parts of the app iance before breaking the circuit.

Installin the appliance
Transportation, unpackin
It is recommended to de iver the app iance in
origina packaging, in vertica position
considering the protective warning on packaging.
After each transportation the app iance must not be
switched on for approx. 2 hours.
Unpack the app iance and check if there are damages
on it. Report possib e damages immediate y to the
p ace you bought it. In that case retain packaging.
Cleanin
Remove every adhesive tape, which ensure the
parts not to move in the app iance.
Wash the inside of the app iance using ukewarm
water and mi d detergent. Use soft c oth.
After c eaning wipe out the inside of the app iance.

Placement
The ambient temperature has an effect on the energy
consumption and proper operation of the app iance.
When p acing, take into consideration that it is
practica to operate the app iance between ambient
temperature imits according to the c imate c ass that
is given in the chart be ow and can be found in the
data abe .

If the ambient temperature goes be ow the ower data
the temperature of the coo ing compartment can go
beyond the prescribed temperature.
If the ambient temperature goes beyond the upper
data this means onger operating time of the
compressor, breakdown in the automatic defrosting
increasing temperature in the coo ing compartment or
increasing energy consumption.
When p acing the app iance ensure that it stands eve .
This can be achieved by two adjustab e feet (1) at the
bottom in front. 1-1 piece of distance washer (2) are
accessories of the adjustab e feet. If eve ing the
app iance requires, these washers can be removed.
Do not stand the app iance on a sunny p ace or c ose
to a radiator or cooker.
If it is unavoidab e because of furnishing and the
app iance has to be stood near a cooker take these
minimum distances into consideration:
In case of gas or e ectric cooker 3 cm must be eft,
when it is ess put a 0,5-1 cm non-f am insu ation
between the two app iances.
In case of oi or coa -fired stove the distance must
be 30 cms since they give off more heat.
The refrigerator is designed to operate when it is
tota y pushed to the wa .
When p acing the refrigerator keep minima
distances recommended in figure.

Chan e of door openin direction
Shou d the setting-up p ace or hand ing demand it,
door-opening direction can be refitted from right-
handed to eft-handed.
Fo owing operations are to be done on the basis of
figures and exp anations:
Pu out the p ug from the mains socket.
Ti t back the app iance carefu y being carefu so
that the compressor can not touch the f oor. It is
recommended to ask another person for he p, who
can keep the app iance at this position safe y.
Unscrew the adjustab e feet situated on both sides
(2 pieces), in addition the screws fixing the ower
door ho ders (3 pieces) respective y the screw on
the other side.
Put over the pin in the ower door ho ding p ate in
the direction of the arrow.
Fix the p ate on the other side eaving the position
of the door unchanged.
Then screw in the one screw in the p ace set free
on the other side as we as the adjustab e feet
(2 pieces) and set up the box.
For refitting the upper door ho der take out the
screws (2 pieces) fixing the p astic top on the back
of the box.
Push back the top and ift it from the fixing
e ements.
Unscrew the screws fixing the upper door ho der
(2 pieces).
After unscrewing turn over the pin in the door
ho der p ate in the direction of the arrow.
Fit and fix the door ho der p ate on the other side
without disp acing the door.
Put back the p astic top on the fixing e ements and
pu it forward.
Fix the top with the screws (2 pieces) on the back
side of the box.
Put over the hand e and the p astic nai s on the
other side.
Put the app iance to its p ace, set it eve and p ug it
into the mains socket.

Chan e of door openin direction of
frozen food compartment
After changing the outer door opening direction at this
type it is necessary to remount the door of the frozen
food compartment as we .
Operations and their order can be seen in figure.
Pu out the bottom pin ho ding the door of the
frozen food compartment (1).
Open the door and remove it from the frame
carefu y (2).
Take the distance s eeve out of the door and
rep ace it to the other side (3).
Pu the top pin out of the frame and put it back on
the other side (4).
Unscrew the screw fixing the bo t body and fix it on
the other side with this screw (5).
Rep ace the door of the frozen food compartment
and fix it with the bottom pin (6).
In case you do not want to perform the procedures
above, ca the nearest brand-mark service.
Technicians wi accomp ish the refitting expert y for
charge.

This refri erator is desi ned to operate on a
230 V AC (~) 50 Hz supply.
The plu must be put into a socket with protective
contact. If there is no such, it is recommended to
et an electrician to fit an earthed socket in
compliance with standards near the refri erator.
