These instructions are for your safety. Please read through them thoroughly before use
and retain for future reference. Failure to follow them could cause injury and/or
property damage.
Note: This manual applies for a number of different products. Please make sure you
follow the appropriate product guide lines.

CAUTIONS
DO’S
• Always install the appliance in accordance with this guide. If in doubt obtain
expert advice.
• Always make sure the electrical socket is accessible and located adjacent
to, but not above the wine cooler.
• Always disconnect the wine cooler from the electrical supply before carrying
out cleaning or maintenance.
• Always keep the specified amount of clearance around the appliance,
especially at the rear of the product, free from obstructions. Never obstruct
the air vents
• Before you dispose of an old wine cooler, take off the door and leave shelves in
place so that children cannot easily climb inside.
• Wait at least 2 hours before storing goods in the appliance once it has been
switched on.
DON’TS
• Never use aerosols or steam cleaners to clean the wine cooler.
• Never route the mains supply cord under carpet etc.
• Do not allow children to play with the wine cooler.
• Never sit or stand on the product.
• Never lean or put weight on the product.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not site the wine cooler on deep pile carpets or rugs.
• Never cut off the plug and hard wire into a fixed fused spur
• Do not touch the cooled surfaces while the appliance is operating; especially
not with wet hands, because skin can stick to cold surfaces.
• Do not place any electrical items inside the appliance
• Keep the appliance away from direct sun light, areas of high humidity and
areas of high temperature.

• Ensure your supply is the same as that indicated on the product before operating
the appliance.
• In the event the mains plug has to be removed/replaced for any reason, please
note :-
The plug removed from the power cord if cut, must be destroyed as a plug with
bare flexible cord is hazardous if plugged into a live socket outlet.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing this wine cooler. The product is designed to meet the most
stringent quality, performance, and safety requirements. This guide aims to improve
your understanding and appreciation of your new wine cooler by providing simple
and informative instructions.
This appliance is intended to be used exclusively for the storage of wine.
This instruction manual is a universal version for a range of models. Please read the
sections carefully, and keep the manual for reference.
HANDLING
Before continuing any further with the installation of this wine cooler please read the
following:
• When lifting always keep your back straight. Bend your legs and not your back.
• Avoid twisting at the waist. It is better to reposition your feet.
• Avoid upper body / top heavy bending. Always bend from the knees rather
than the waist.
• Do not lean forward or sideways whilst handling the wine cooler
• Always grip with the palm of the hand. Do not use the tips of fingers for support.
• Always keep the product as close to the body as possible. This will prevent
unnecessary and undue strain on the body.
• Use gloves to provide additional grip.
• Always use assistance if required
• Never tilt the wine cooler at an angle greater than 45 degrees when moving
• Allow a 10 minute minimum interval between transit and connecting the
wine cooler to a power source
UNPACKING
The unit is supplied in a single packaged carton. Carefully unpack the product using
the following procedure:
• Carefully lift the parts out of the box
• Carefully remove the protective wrapping from the parts
• Carefully remove the wine cooler from its box and put aside

INSTALLATION
Positioning
Do not position this product in a location where it may be subject to extreme
temperatures, where it could be exposed to direct sunlight, or next to a heat source.
The unit should be located in a cool, dry place.
Allow sufficient clearance around the Wine Cooler and ensure it is positioned on a
stable and level surface. The wine cooler has 4 feet, adjustable up to 2cm. If the wine
cooler is on an uneven surface, adjust the height of the appropriate feet to ensure the
wine cooler is level and stable.
Connection to the mains supply should be made via a suitable socket which is easily
accessbile.
Allow a 10 minute minimum interval between transit and connecting the wine cooler to
a power source.

Shelf installation
To install the wine cabinet shelves, slide the shelf on to the guides on the sides of
the cabinet. To remove the shelves for cleaning and maintenance etc. pull the
shelf towards you to remove it from the guides.
Always maintain sufficient clearance for
ventilation around the wine cooler:-
It is vital that an 80mm gap is left between the
wine cooler’s rear and any surfaces (A)
Allow a minimum of 50mm between the wine
cooler’s sides and any surfaces (B)
The air inlets and outlets must not be covererd
or blocked at any time.

USE
Temperature settings

Filling
The wine cooler is designed to store a maximum number of bottles; it is recommended
that you follow the following tips to ensure optimized loading.
• Spread bottles out as evenly as possible over the shelves to ensure weight is not
concentrated at one point.
• Always make sure bottles are not grouped together at the top or bottom of the
cabinet.

CARE
Cleaning
Never use harsh, abrasive or heavy-duty cleaners/solvents on any surface of the
product.
1. Unplug the wine cooler before cleaning
2. Remove all contents (including shelves) before cleaning.
3. Make sure water cannot get into the electrical and electronic units on the
appliance.
4. Use warm water to wipe and rinse down the outside surfaces.
5. A baking soda solution (3 tablespoons per 1 Litre of water) may be used to
clean the interior. Be extra thorough when cleaning the inside.
6. Never apply any oils or grease on the door seal as this would cause the seal to
deteriorate.
7. Wipe away all excess water and allow to dry.
8. Replace shelves and contents.
Maintenance
To ensure the best performance and reliability, clean the condenser (metal screen on
the back of the cabinet) at least once per year.

PLUG REPLACEMENT
(for product fitted with BS plug)
This appliance is supplied with a BS1363 3 pin plug fitted with a 13 Amp fuse. Should
the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 13 Amp and
approved to BS1362.
In the event the mains plug has to be removed/replaced for any reason, please
note:
The wires in the mains lead on this appliance are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
As the colours may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your
plug proceed as follows.
• The green and yellow earth wire must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol
• The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N
• The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L
Important - any cut off plug should be disposed of safely to prevent hazard. There is
a danger of electric shock if a cut off plug is inserted into a socket outlet.
