
START EXTRACTING JUICE
1. Rinseandcleanvegetablesandfruitsthoroughlyfirst. Peelandremovecoreif
needed. Cutfoodintosmallpieces for fitting intothe feeding channelof the
protectivecover. (Wesuggesttocutfoodnobiggerthan2”longand¾”wide;
slightlyadjustthesizeoffoodforittofitthechannel.)
2. TurnswitchtoONposition. Usefoodplungertopressdownfruitsandvegetables
GENTLYintojuiceextractor. Processsoft-texturedfruits first (such as melonand
peach),followedbyfirmerfruitsandvegetables(suchascarrotsandcelery).
IMPORTANT:Donotforcethefoodintothecutter/strainer,instead,usefirmbut
moderatepressure.
3. Usejuicecollectortocollectjuice.
4. Toemptythe pulp container: turn juiceextractorto OFF position. Use handleto
removethepulpcollectoranddiscardthepulp. Rinsethecontainerwithwaterand
putitbacktotheplace. Forbestresults,emptypulpcontainerwhenitis¾filled.
JUICING TIPS
•Handform leafyvegetablessuchasspinachand parsleyintocompact(ball)shapes
first,andfeedintothefeedingchannel.
•Alwaysservejuiceimmediately. Thevitamincontentofjuicedecreaseswhenjuices
arestored. Ifnecessary,coverthejuicecontainertightly withfoodwrapsandstoreit
inrefrigerator. Donotstoreover24hours.
•Addafew spoonfuls of lemon juiceinyour juice collector beforejuicingto keep
juicesfromdiscoloring.
•Whenpreparinglarge quantity of fruitsand vegetables to makejuice,check pulp
containerafterprocessing2lbs.offood.
•Donotuse this juice extractorto extract juices fromavocado,banana and
raspberries.
•Uselayersofcheeseclothtofilterjuiceifclearjuiceisdesired.
•Whenprocessingmoist, leafy vegetables orextract a large amountoffruits and
vegetables,the areabetweenthecutter/strainerandtheseparatingunitmay
becomeclogged. Ifthejuiceextractorbecomescloggedorvibratesexcessively,
turntheunit to OFF position,unplugcord and allow thecutter/strainerto stop
completely. Emptythepulpcompletelyandreplacecoverandfastenthecover
latches. Itisnowreadytocontinuetoprocessjuice.

•Alwaysmakesurethatthecutter/strainer is securelyplaced on the
separatingunit andthemotorbaseinorder tohavethejuiceextractor
functionproperly.

Somepulpremaininginjuiceisnormal,whichincreasesthenutritive
valueofthejuice.
