Operation%
Charging%
Units!should!be!fully!charged!before!first!operation.!This!takes!up!to!6hrs!from!an!empty!battery.!
Place!units!into!the!charging!case!or!on!the!single!charger!unit!as!appropriate,!and!plug!the!charger!
cable!into!the!mains!power!supply.!
Make!sure!each!ColourPoint!Mini!unit!is!firmly!located!on!the!charger,!shown!by!the!illumination!of!
the!charging!LED!(9).!This!will!glow!red!when!the!battery!is!less!than!70%!charged,!amber!when!
greater!than!70%!then!green!when!fully!charged.!
Battery!charge!condition!during!use!is!shown!by!the!battery!symbol!on!the!right!side!of!the!display!!
Power%
Switch!the!unit!On!and!Off!pressing!the!Power&Switch!(1)!for!less!than!1!second!then!releasing.!
Changing%Function%
Push!the!Function!button!(2)!to!step!through!the!different!functions!of!the!unit!as!below.!Push!the!
Enter!Button!(5)!to!enter!each!menu!option,!then!Enter!to!step!through!the!sub-menus.!
Adjust!settings!with!the!Up&and!Down!arrow!keys!(3)!and!(4)!and!accept!with!the!Enter!button!(5)!
To!quit!without!making!changes,!simply!push!the!Function!button!(2):!

Wireless%DMX%Control%
The!units!may!be!controlled!by!a!lighting!desk!enabled!with!a!Wireless!DMX!transmitter!(Wireless!
Solutions!DMX)!or!CORE!Master!unit!(eg!CORE!ColourPoint,!Point20,!Point30,!StripPoint!etc.).!
!
If!the!wireless!link!light!(8)!on!the!ColourPoint!Mini!is!flashing!this!means!the!unit!is!paired!with!a!
transmitter!which!is!not!switched!on!or!within!range.!Disconnect!from!that!transmitter!by!holding!
down!the!W-DMX!switch!(7)!for!a!few!seconds!and!the!link!light!should!extinguish.!

To!link!to!a!new!transmitter!simply!push!the!link!button!on!the!transmitter!unit!or!CORE!Master!unit.!
The!link!lights!on!both!the!transmitter!and!ALL!unpaired!ColourPoint!Mini!units!that!are!switched!on!!
and!within!range!will!flash!and!will!be!connected!together.!Successful!pairing!is!indicated!by!the!link!
lights!on!the!ColourPoint!Mini!units!turning!solid!red.!!

Now!the!DMX!channel!for!each!unit!may!be!selected!within!the!DMX!sub-menu.!This!allows!units!to!
be!controlled!independently!if!on!different!channels,!or!together!if!on!the!same!channel.!If!
connected!to!a!CORE!Master!unit,!all!units!will!perform!the!same!function!and!may!be!connected!to!
channels!1,!6,!11,!16….!etc.!All!those!channels!perform!the!same!function!simultaneously!and!cannot!
be!separated.!For!separate!and!independent!operation!use!a!more!complex!lighting!desk!and!
transmitter!arrangement.!
