Steam Iron

1) Always switch off and unplug the power socket from the main
electrical supply BEFORE cleaning and also when the
appliance is not in use.
2) NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE, POWER CORD OR
PLUG INTO WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS. Please refer to
the section on “Care and Cleaning”.
3) If it is a detachable power cord, always connect the power
cord to the appliance first BEFORE plugging it into the
electrical outlet. To disconnect the appliance, switch off the
power on the electrical outlet before removing the power plug.
4) Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord set or
plug. Any repairs should always be carried out by the
Customer Service Centre or by an authorized service centre.
5) Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, in a heated oven, or near easily flammable materials.
6) Do not use in the outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
7) Do not left unattended while it is connect to the supply.
8) Always place appliance on a flat sturdy surface. When
moving appliance, always take precaution not to touch the
hot surface. Extreme caution must be used when moving an
appliance containing hot liquids.
9) Use of accessories or equipments not supplied by the
manufacturer may cause damage or malfunctioning of your
appliance or result in injuries.

Note: For the first use, it is normal to see a little water
retention in the water tank due to production test.
1. Remove any sticker or protective foil from the soleplate.
Clean the soleplate with a soft cloth.
2. Textile which has been applied (gloss, crinkle, relief etc.) is
best ironed at lower temperatures.
3. Sort the garment according to ironing temperature. The iron
heats up quicker than it cools down. Therefore, start ironing
garment that need to be ironed at lowest temperature, such
as those made of synthetic.
4. Temperature guide - Follow the ironing instructions on the
garment label. If there are no instructions for the type of
fabric used, please consult the table.
Warning: If the fabric consists of various kinds of fabrics,
always select the temperature required by the most delicate
fabrics.

Set the steam control to “”
position.
Filling iron with water
1. Set the steam control to “OFF” (no steam) position.
2. Hold the handle to set iron to a leveled position and fill in
water through the water inlet.
3. Fill the water tank with filling cup. Note: Never fill the water
exceeding the “MAX” level.
4. Wipe clean any water outside of the water tank. When finish
ironing, please empty the water tank.
5. Normal tap water can be used. However, it is advisable to use
distilled water.
Steam ironing
1. Fill in water according to the filling method above.
2. Insert the power plug into the electrical outlet (ensure correct
voltage).
3. Set the temperature control at the required position, but steam
ironing is only possible at higher ironing temperatures and
“Max” setting. Water may leak from the soleplate if
temperature is too low.

4. Correct ironing temperature is achieved when the pilot light
turns off.
5. The pilot light will turn on from time to time during ironing.
6. Set the steam control to “”position, then start ironing after
releasing steam for several seconds.
7. For self clean function, set the steam control to “ ” position.
Dry Ironing
1. Place the iron vertically and set the temperature control dial at
“MIN”.
2. Set the steam control selector to position “ ”.
3. Set the temperature control dial according to your fabric.
4. You may start iron when the indicator light turns off.
Spraying
1. You can dampen laundry at any temperature by pressing the
spray button a couple of times.
2. Fill water tank with water.
3. Press the spray button several times when ironing, especially
on heavily creased article.
Burst Steam
1. Fill water tank with water.
2. Set the Steam control selector to the “ ” position.
3. Press the burst steam button to enhance the distribution of
steam into every part of the article to be ironed.
4. Burst steam can only be used at temperature settings
between “•••” and “MAX”.
5. Press and release the burst steam button when you hold the
iron in vertical position for removing creases from hanging
clothes, curtains, etc.

If the problem cannot be solved after referring to the above
guides, please contact the nearest service center or their
representatives.
The iron is not hot

1. CAUTION: Ironing over zippers/rivets on jeans etc. may
cause scratches on the soleplate.
2. Turn the temperature knob to “min” and unplug the power.
Place the iron upright and let the iron cool completely before
cleaning and storing.
3. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and use a non-abrasive
cleaner.
4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified service agent to avoid hazards.
