Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and
other construction activities contains chemicals known to cause
cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of
these chemicals are:
• leadfromlead-basedpaints,
• crystallinesilicafrombricksandcementandothermasonry
products, and
• arsenicandchromiumfromchemically-treatedlumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do
this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work
in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment,
such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out
microscopic particles.

• Donotvacuumanyliquids.
• Takecarethattheexhaustairdoesnotpoint
towardsanyotherpersonormaterialor
substancethatcouldbecontaminatedby
oildroplets.Whenfirstlubricatingatoolorif
thetoolexhausthasahighoilcontentdonot
allowtheexhaustairtocomenearveryhot
surfacesorflames.
• Thistoolisnotsuitableforunderwateruse
oruseinexplosiveenvironments.
• Donotlubricatetoolswithflammableor
volatileliquidssuchaskerosene,diesel
orjetfuel.
• Donotremoveanylabels.Replaceany
damagedlabels.
• Useaccessoriesrecommendedby
CornwellTools.

AIR SUPPLY
Toolsofthisclassoperateonawiderangeofairpressures.Itis
recommendedthatairpressureofthesetoolsmeasures90PSIat
thetoolwhilerunningfree.Higherpressure(over90psig;6.2bar)
raisesperformancebeyondtheratedcapacityofthetool,which
willshortentoollifebecauseoffasterwearandcouldcauseinjury.
Alwaysuseclean,dryair.Dust,corrosivefumesand/orwaterin
theairlinewillcausedamagetothetool.Draintheairtankdaily.
Cleantheairinletfilterscreenonatleastaweeklyschedule.
Therecommendedhookupprocedurecanbeviewedinthe
abovefigure.
Theairinletusedforconnectingairsupplyhasstandard1/4"NPT.
Linepressureshouldbeincreasedtocompensateforunusually
longairhoses(over25feet).Minimumhosediametershouldbe
5/16"I.D.andfittingsshouldhavethesameinsidedimensions
andbetightlysecured.
OPERATION
Tooperateasablowgun,removeendcap(#4),removeand
reversethepositionofthevalve(#3).Alwaysensurethatthe
o-rings(#2)arereplacedproperly.
Factorsoutsidethetoolmaycauselossofpowerorerraticaction.
Reducedcompressoroutput,excessivedrainontheairline,
moistureorrestrictionsinairpipesortheuseofhoseconnections
ofimpropersizeorpoorconditionmayreduceairsupply.Gritor
gumdepositsinthetoolmaycutpowerandmaybecorrectedby
cleaningtheairstrainerandflushingoutthetoolwithgumsolvent
oiloranequalmixtureofSAE#10oilandkerosene.Ifoutside
conditionsareinorderandthetoolcontinueserraticactionorlow
power,disconnecttoolfromhoseandtaketooltoyournearest
authorizedservicecenter.
WARRANTY
Cornwellwarrantsthisairtoolforaperiodof1yeartotheconsumer.WewillrepairanyCTGAIRVACcoveredunderthiswarrantywhichprovesto
bedefectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipduringthewarrantyperiod.Inordertohaveyourtoolrepaired,returnthetooltoanyCornwellAuthorized
WarrantyCenter,freightprepaid.Pleaseincludeacopyofyourproofofpurchaseandabriefdescriptionoftheproblem.Thetoolwillbeinspected
andifanypartorpartsarefoundtobedefectiveinmaterialorworkmanship,theywillberepairedfreeofchargeandtherepairedtoolwillbe
returnedtoyoufreightprepaid.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificrights.Youmayalsohaveotherrightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.
TheforegoingobligationisCornwell’ssoleliabilityunderthisoranyimpliedwarrantyandundernocircumstancesshallCornwellbeliableforany
incidentalorconsequentialdamages.

applytoyou.
