Q: How do I know when my camera is being used?
When the device is correctly connected via USB to your computer, the Power
Indicator to the right of the camera lens will show red. When the camera is in
use by video software, the Status Indicator will show green.
Q: I cannot see the UVCamera Audio in my camera selection list.
Please check and/or reconnect the camera to your computer. If using a USB
HUB, please try to connect the camera directly to your computer. The Power
Indicator will show red when connected correctly.
Q: My video software only shows 1280 x 720p instead of 1920 x 1080p
Some video software is not able to use full HD 1920 x 1080p but will auto-
matically use the best resolution possible. Some video software will also
change the resolution during a call to ensure the best possible results while
maintaining your video call.
Q: Why do I see two dierent cameras to select in my video software?
It is highly possible that if using this camera with a laptop, your laptop screen
will already have a camera built in. Please check pages 2 and 3 for some
information on selecting the correct UVCamera device.
Q: Why is the image a dierent angle than expected?
Your computer has two cameras connected. Please check pages 2 and 3 for
some information on selecting the correct UVCamera.
Q: Can I use the built-in microphone?
Yes. In your video software in the audio device settings, simple select the
Hisilicon HD Audio.
