Please read these instructions before
operating this appliance and retain for
future use.
FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY
• This device is designed exclusively for domestic use. Only use
this appliance for its intended use as described in this manual.
• This device is NOT a toy. Keep out of reach of young children
younger than 8 years. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with device. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
3ALWAYS ensure that the main body of the appliance does not get
wet (water splashing, etc.) and do not use with wet hands.
3ALWAYS consult your Doctor before use if you have a pacemaker.
3ALWAYS keep the skin dry and clean before using the device.
Do not smear cream, lotion, gel, powder or antiperspirant etc. to
avoid blocking the blade.
3ALWAYS use the appliance with the supplied attachments. If
damaged, only replace it with one of the original type to avoid an
electrical hazard.
3ALWAYS keep the device away from hot or heated surfaces and
avoid direct sunlight.
7NEVER use the device if it is damaged or broken to avoid injuries.
7NEVER use the appliance on irritated skin (e.g. eczema or
inamed skin reactions such as folliculitis (purulent hair
follicles), skin with varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with
hairs) or wounds without rst consulting your Doctor. Persons
with reduced immune response, during pregnancy or people who
suffer from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeciency
should also consult with their Doctor before use.
7NEVER use if you have allergic or sensitive skin that reacts to
cosmetics, metals, etc. or when your skin has rashes, severe
acne, recent scar tissue (less than 3 months) or is sunburned,
inamed, irritated or has other skin ailments. Consult your
Doctor before use.
7NEVER use attachments other than those we supply.
7NEVER use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.
7NEVER share use of the appliance. For hygiene reasons, the
appliance should only be used by one person.
7NEVER use where any aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being used.
7NEVER attempt to disassemble or modify the device as this
places the user at risk and invalidates the guarantee.
7NEVER immerse the device in water.
BATTERIES
• This shaver operates with 1 x AA 1.5 V battery (not supplied). For best
performance, use an alkaline battery.
• Always use the battery by the recommended use-by-date.
• Rotate and align the indent mark on the rose gold metal ring to the “▲” mark
on the battery cover and remove the battery cover.
• Insert the battery ensuring that the battery is tted the right way round
observing the + and – signs on the battery and product.
• Replace the battery cover by aligning the indent mark and the “▲” mark on
the battery cover.
• Rotate the battery cover to align the ident to the “O” position.
• Always seek medical advice immediately if you believe a battery has been
swallowed.
• Always store batteries in a well ventilated cool dry place away from direct
sunlight.
• Always keep batteries out of the reach of young children.
• Used batteries should not be disposed of with the household waste. Please
recycle batteries at special collection points or return them to your retailer.
• Never place the battery in a re or mutilate the battery as it may burst or
release toxic materials.
• Never puncture, crush, dent or dismantle batteries or attempt to revive
batteries by heating, charging or other means.
• If the appliance is not used for long periods of time, do not leave the battery

inserted (danger of leakage). Remove the battery when not in use for extended
periods of time. In the instance of battery leakage occurring and coming into
contact with the skin or eyes, wash immediately with lots of water.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. The blade may get slightly hot during usage of the device. This is normal.
2. For best results use on hair which is ¼” in length or less.
3. Remove the blade cover.
4. Rotate the main body of the shaver so that the indent mark on the rose gold
decorative ring is in aligned to the “I” position on the battery cover to turn the
shaver on.
5. Gently place the blade at against the skin and rotate or move around in small
circles to remove hair.
6. Rotate the main body of the shaver so that the indent mark on the rose gold
decorative ring is in aligned to the “O” position on the battery cover to turn the
shaver off.
7. If the appliance starts to slow, carry out cleaning as described in the Cleaning
and Maintenance section. If it is still running slowly, change the battery.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• To ensure optimum shaving results, carry out cleaning after each use.
• Do not wipe any part of the appliance with abrasive cleaning agents or
aggressive liquids, such as petrol, benzene or alcohol.
The appliance is with waterproof protection. Only the removable rotary head and
main body can be cleaned under an open tap. Please never immerse the appliance
into the water for cleaning.
1. Turn off the appliance and remove the battery. Rotate the rotary head anti-
clockwise to remove it.
2. Use clean water to rinse residue hair from the rotary head and main body,
then take a small brush (not supplied) to remove any remaining hair.
3. Remove any excess water after cleaning with a clean cloth. Allow the rotary
head and main body to air dry out of the reach of children to ensure it is
completely dry.
4. Once completely dry, attach the rotary head back onto the main body aligning
the indent on the rotary head to the left of the indent on the main body and
turning clockwise to lock the 2 pieces into place. Place the blade cover back
onto the appliance and store in a cool dry place.
5. Lubricate the blades with a drop of sewing machine oil every 6 weeks for
optimal performance.
NOTES:
• Do not use a towel or paper towel to wipe the blade head, it may damage the
blade and the connecting shaft.
• During the installing or removing of the blade head, ensure the battery cover
is locked with the main body.
• Do not place the product at the sunlight or high temperature directly.
SERVICING
There are no user serviceable parts inside this appliance. Always refer servicing
to qualied service personnel. If you drop or damage your product, do not use until
it has been inspected and approved by a qualied electrician to prevent a hazard.
REPLACEMENT HEADS
For optimum results we recommend that you replace the rotary head every 6 months
or sooner if you experience a noticeable drop in performance, or if it becomes
damaged in any way. For replacements please contact customer services quoting
the product’s model number and batch code. They will give you up-to-date prices.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, against
mechanical and electrical defects, when registered at www.cosmobeautytools.com
within 28 days of purchase. NB: Non-registered products are guaranteed for a
period of 1 year. It is particularly important that you carefully read the instructions
provided, in order to get maximum use from this product.
This guarantee is only valid if the appliance is used solely for domestic purposes
in accordance with the instructions and provided that it is not connected to an
unsuitable electricity supply, dismantled or interfered with in any way or damaged
through misuse. Under this guarantee we undertake to repair or replace free of
charge any parts found to be defective.
This guarantee is only valid with your original sales receipt as proof of purchase.
You may wish to attach the receipt to this card for ease of reference and to avoid
accidental loss.
In the unlikely event of a fault or mechanical defect in material and workmanship
within the 12 months of purchase the product should be returned to the retailer for
replacement.
If the fault develops after 12 months and within 24 months from the date of original
purchase and you have registered your product online within 28 days of purchase,
you should contact customer services quoting the products model number and
batch code.
This information can be located on the underside or back of the product. The batch
code will be stated in an YYWW format (e.g. 1825).
For spare parts please contact customer services quoting the product’s model
number and batch code. They will give you up-to-date prices.
Guarantee Exclusions
1. Batteries and damage from leakage is not covered by the terms of the
guarantee.
2. The warranty does not cover acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes or
tornadoes or use for rental or commercial services.
3. Consumable items such as brushes are not covered under this warranty.
This guarantee does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage.
This guarantee is only valid within the UK and Ireland. Nothing in this guarantee
or the instructions relating to this product excludes, restricts or otherwise affects
your statutory rights.
In line with our policy of continuous product development we reserve the right to
change the product, packaging and documentation specications without notice.
