manufacturer’s instrucons and wa rnings to avoid personal injury

Gen eral : •Prepare a cleaning soluon of 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda
mixed with warm water. Use sponge or socloth, dampened
with the cleaning soluon, to wipe down your Countertop Refrigerator
•Rinse with clean wa rm water and dry with a socloth.
•Do not use harsh chemica ls, ab rasi ves, ammonia, chlorine bleach,
concentrated detergents, solvents or metal scouring pads. Some
of these chemica ls may dissolve, damag e and/or discolor your
Countertop Refrigerator.
Door Gaskets : •Clean door gaskets every three months according to genera l
instrucons. Gask ets must be kept clean a nd pliabl e to assure a
proper seal.
•Petroleum jelly applied lightly on the hinge side of gaskets will
keep the gasket pliabl e a nd ensure a good seal.
Defrosng Your Countertop Refrigerator
Your Countertop Refrigerator is desig ned with a manual defrost system. The
Countertop Refrigerator surfac es will defrost, when the unit is unplug . W ater
from the unit is dispos ed of automatically, by means of being channeled onto a
drip tray located on the compresso r. Heat transfer from the compressor causes this
water to evaporate .
Power Interrupons
•Occasionally there may be power interrupons due to thunderstorms or other
causes . Remove the pow er cord from AC outlet when a power outa ge occ urs.
Whe n power has been restored, replug power cord to AC outlet.
Vacaon a n d Moving Care
•For long vacaons or absences, empty contents from Countertop Refrigerator,
unplug the unit a nd clea n the Countertop Refrigerator and door gasket s
accord ing to “G eneral clea ning” section. Prop doors open, so a ir ca n circulate inside .
W hen moving , alwa ys move the Countertop Refrigerator vercally. Do not move
with the unit lying down. Possible damage to the sea led system could occu r.
