to connect your receiver unit to a VCR or other video recorder as
follows:
1. Using the supplied RCA cable, connect one end to the video
output on the rear of the receiver unit. (See Figure 1.) Con-
nect the other end of the RCA cable to the video input jack
on your recorder according to the manufacturer’s instruc-

Make any necessary adjustments to your receiver antenna
for best reception.
Locating the Video Input Button
Depending on the make and model of your monitor or recorder,
the video input button is usually located on the remote control or
on the front panel of the unit itself. However, some units require
you to select your video input within the on-screen menu. The
diagram below shows some examples of remote controls with a
video input button. For additional information, consult the

General
The transmitting antenna, also known as a “directional
antenna,” is located at the bottom of the unit facing up and
should be oriented with the receiver for optimal performance.
The 2.4 GHz antenna on the receiver is designed to pivot in vari-
ous directions for easier alignment. Although the unit will still
work properly without the units facing each other, the transmis-
sion range may be decreased.
Pre-Operation
1. Read this manual thoroughly!
2. Determine the best possible site selection based upon your
situation. Pay particular attention to lighting. It is always
best to have the lighting on or in front of your subject in-
stead of behind it.
Deployment
1. Place the Air Purifier unit on a flat surface or mount accord-
ing to the included Air Purifier manual. The camera is lo-
cated at the front of the unit and should face your target
area.
2. The AC/DC adapter for the air purifier unit is enclosed in the
box with the receiver and labeled accordingly. Using this
adapter, plug the unit into the nearest 110 ~ 115 Volt AC
outlet.
3. Determine the placement for your receiver unit and use the
supplied AC/DC power adapter to plug into the nearest
110~115 Volt AC outlet. Make sure the receiver switch is in
the “ON” position.
Options
If your unit was ordered with channel-select capability, you can
change the transmitting channel.
1. Find the channel select button on the bottom of the unit.
You must first press the tab and remove the bottom panel
1
from the unit. The small, black channel select button is
located on the internal white inlaid panel. The unit is ini-
tially set to channel 1. Push the button once for channel 2,
twice for channel 3, or three times for channel 4.
2. Locate the desired channel on the Receiver by pushing the
button located on the top of the receiver unit.
3. Once your receiver unit is properly connected to your moni-
tor or recorder, you will need to verify that an image is re-
ceived from the camera. This will indicate that the camera
and the receiving unit are properly set on the same chan-
nel.
Operation
Once your Wireless Air Purifier Camera is in place and aligned
with your receiving unit, you must connect your receiving unit
to a monitor and/or recorder to gain access to your video foot-
age.
Using a Monitor
If you wish only to view your video using a standard monitor or
television, you will need to connect your receiver directly to you
monitor as follows:
1. Using the supplied RCA cable, connect one end to the video
output on the rear of the receiver unit. (See Figure 1.) Con-
nect the other end of the RCA cable to the video input jack
on your monitor or television.
2. Change the video input for your monitor accordingly. (See
Figure 2.)
3. Your monitor should display the view from your camera.
Make any necessary adjustments to your receiver antenna
for best reception.
