sureofyourfooting. A slipandfallcancause
sedouspersonalinjury. Keep a firm holdonthe
handleand walk,never run.Ifyoufeel youare
losingyourfooting,RELEASETHE BLADE
CONTROLHANDLE IMMEDIATLEY andthe
bladewillstoprotatingwithinthreeseconds.
Mowonlyindaylightor goodartificiallight.
Stopthebladewhencrossinggraveldrives,walks
or roads.
Iftheequipmentshouldstarttovibrate
abnormally,stoptheengineandcheck
immediatelyforthecause.Vibrationisgenerallya
warningoftrouble.
Shuttheengineoffandwaituntilthebladecomes
toacompletestopbeforeremovingthegrass
catcheroruncloggingthe chute.The cutting
blade continues to rotateforafew seconds alter
theengineisshutoff.Never placeanypartofthe
bodyinthebladearea untilyouaresuretheblade
hasstoppedrotating.
Neveroperatemowerwithoutproperguards,
grasscatcher,platesorothersafetyprotective
devicesin place.
Mufflerandenginebecomehotand cancause a

Slope Operation
Foryoursafety,usetheslopegaugeincludedaspartof
thismanualtomeasureslopesbeforeoperatingthisuniton
a slopeorhillyarea.Iftheslopeisgreaterthan15 degrees
asshownontheelopegauge(page6), do notoperatethis
uniton thatareaorseriousinjurycouldresult.

down.Exercise extremecaution whenchanging

Children
Tragicaccidentscanoccurifthe operatorisnotalerttothe
