If ou plan to concrete the wood posts
efore uilding the pergola this is er
important ecause ou will not e ale to
moe the posts after the concrete is set up.
If ou are planning on uilding the pergola
efore pouring the concrete ou will need to
make sure that the post locations are close.
ou will e ale to plum the posts once the
pergola is done efore pouring the concrete.
ou can add grael or loose dirt to keep the
posts plum as well ut will need to remoe
it later.

read to install our 2 headers.

are on the outside of posts.

Fasten 2 to post with .5”
screws per side. omplete
this step on oth ends of the
beam.
Make sure the beams are
aligned before tightening
screws.
ou are now read to install our
2 runners.

Putting them in notches as
shown measure each side
until it is eenl spaced.
Fasten 2 runners to headers
with 1 .5” screw at a 45
degree angle per header.

runners in place, repeating
on both directions as shown.

screw per pre-drilled holes.

Fasten top of race with 2 2.5”
screws on oth side of headers.
1 our pergola is now complete. If ou hae completed the pergola and will
now e pouring the concrete ou need to make sure that posts are plum.
Prop up with supports wood 2 etc. eep props in place until the
concrete is set up.
