FAN HEATER
USER INSTRUCTIONS
Model: HT-243
220-240V~ 50Hz 2000W
INTRODUTION
Thank you for purchasing a series of Fan Heater. Each unit has been manufactured to ensure
safety and reliability before first use. Read the instructions carefully and keep them for further
reference.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrical appliance basic precautions should be followed. Please read the
following instructions as they are for your benefit and safety:
1. Make sure the power supply used corresponds to the rating label.
2. Never obstruct or block any openings of the heater.
3. Use the heater only on a flat surface.
4. Always disconnect the appliance from the main power supply when not in use and when
cleaning.
5. Do not leave the heater “ON”unattended.
6. Never cover the heater as this may lead to risk of fire.
7. Keep the appliance a distance of at least 90 cm from any combustible material such as
furniture, curtains, bedding, clothes or papers.
8. Do not use this heater in the immediate surrounding of a bath, a shower or a swimming
pool.
9. Do not immerse the heater in water or allow for water to come into contact with the plug
or control device.
10. Keep this heater clean. Do not allow objects to enter the ventilation opening as this may
cause electric shock, fire of damage to the heater.
11. Close supervision is requiring when any appliance is used near or by children.
12. Never allow the cord to touch wet or hot surfaces, become twisted or be within the reach
of children.
13. Do not use outdoors
14. Do not place on or near a hot gas electric burner.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced the manufacture or its service agent or a
similarly qualified person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.
16. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use as described in this instruction
book.
17. Do not place the heater immediately below a socket outlet.
18. This appliance is intended for household use only.
19. Do not leave the heater on overnight.
20. While cleaning, make sure not to use a wet cloth or use water on any part of the unit, as
this may cause a short circuit or electrical shock.
21. Do not use this unit in any area where water present.
22. Make sure the power cord is placed at the back away from the front panel of the heater.
23. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
24. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
25. Caution: Do not cover anything on your heater when in use.
26. The fan-heater must not be placed near a socket and the following hint: This fan-heater
must not be used near a bath, shower or swimming-pool
27. This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this
heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room
on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

NOTE: Should the unit overheat; this heater is fitted with a safety with overheating device
which will switch the off automatically. (If the air vent is blocked or if the fan function is not
blowing air). If this should happen, all you need to do this:
Disconnect the plug from the electrical socket for a few minutes. Ensure the heater is not
covered and nothing is obstructing any of the vents. Plug the heater back into the electrical
socket and switch the heater back ON.

HOW TO OPERATE
1. Remove the unit from the box and take off any protective wrapping.
2. Place the heater on a smooth level surface and least 30cm away from any obstacles.
3. Plug your fan heater into the power supply. Make sure your power supply corresponds to
the power indicated on the rating label.
4. Heat temperature setting can be regulated using the switch located on the top of the heater.
This switch is use for both the fan and heat elements. Note the fan speed cannot be altered
and will always remain constant. To turn the application on:
* Fan-for a lower power air circulator; Turn the dial on the right clockwise, once for the fan
function
* Low-Turn it twice for the Medium heat setting (1000W). The setting is best suited for
smaller, well-insulated areas that require less warning.
* High-Turn the switch once more for High setting, or full power (2000W). Which delivers
rapid warm air to increase the temperature to a given area.
OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE
Your heater is fitted with a safety device that switches off the heater in the event of
overheating.
Should the heater stop working, turn the heater off and inspect of blockage of inlet or outlet.
Wait at least 5 minutes of the protection system to reset before attempting to restart the heater.
If the heater fails to operate the safety device switches the heater off again, return the heater to
your nearest service center for examination or repair.
CLEANINGYOUR FAN HEATER
1. Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply before cleaning.
2. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with damp cloth and guff with a dry cloth.
3. Do not use Benzene or any other detergents/solvents or chemical agents to clean the
heater.

SERVICE
Hints before returning the appliance:
Is your household socket working properly?
Are all required switches in the “ON” position?
Ensure that the plug is firmly in the socket and switched on.
Ensure the heater if standing on an even surface.
NOTE: If the power supply cord, or plug is damaged, an official agent must replace it.
If service becomes necessary with the warranty period, the appliance should be returned to an
approved service center. Servicing outside the warranty period is still available, however it
will be chargeable.
