Observethebatterychargeindicatorintheinstrumentcluster,andmakesureadequatecharge
existsforthedistanceyouplantoride.
PresstherighthandlebarswitchtodeactivatethePfeature.
Liftthemotorcycleoffthesidestandand,withyourleftfoot,retractthesidestand.Notethat
themotorcyclehasasidestanddisconnectfeature,anditwillnotoperateifthesidestandisin
theextendedposition.
Checkyoursurroundingstomakesureitissafetoenterthestreet.
Twistthethrottletomoveforward.
Whenyoudesiretostoporslow,applythefrontandrearbrakegraduallybyoperatingtheleft‐
handleverfortherearbrake,andtheright‐handleverforthefrontbrake.
Warning!ThePfeatureisnotaparkingbrake,anditdoesnotapplythemotorcyclebrake.TheP
featuresimplydisengagesthethrottlesothatturningthethrottlewillnotapplypowertotherear

sideoftheinstrumentcluster.Whenyoudoso,theRlightwillilluminate,indicatingthemotorcycleisin
areversedrivemode.PressthePswitchontherighthandlebartoengagethethrottle.Whenyoutwist
thethrottle,themotorcyclewillbedriveninreverse.

Caution!Waitatleast30secondsafterconnectingthe
chargertoACpowerbeforeturningthecapacitoron.It
needsthistimetoadjusttotheinputACvoltage.
Afterwaiting30seconds,turnthechargeronwiththe
switchonthebackofthecharger.
Youshouldseetheinstrumentpanelilluminatetoshowthe
chargingstatus.Theredplugindicateschargingis
underway.
Leaverthechargeronuntilthebatteryis100%charged.
Typically,thiswilltakeapproximately8hours.Whilethe
batteryischarging,theredLEDonthechargerwillbe
illuminated.Whenthebatteryfullycharged,thegreenLED
willilluminate.

Inflatethetiresto32psi.
Liftthemotorcyclesuchthatthetiresareofftheground.
Storethemotorcycleinacool,dryarea.
Whenremovingthemotorcyclefromstorage,fullychargeandinstallthebattery.
Inspectthemotorcycleinaccordancewiththeinstructionsinthismanual.
Removetheseatfollowingtheprocedureinthismanualandturntheairswitch(identifiedintheelectricalsegment
ofthismanual)totheoffposition.Thiswillslowthebattery’snormaldischargeprocesswhenthemotorcycleisnot
beingused.

MaintenanceCautionsandWarnings
Whenyoumaintainorrepairthemotorcycle,pleaseuseoriginal components and parts, accessories,
lubricatingoilandothermaterialsthataremadeorrecognizedbyCSCMotorcycles.
Caution!IfyouuseanypartsorcomponentsotherthanthoserecommendedbyCSC,itmayadversely
affecttheperformance,reliability,stability,orwarrantyofyourmotorcycle.
Whenworkingonyourmotorcycle,youshouldfollowthisguidance:
Warning!Wheneverthemotorcycleistobereassembledafterdisassembly,washers,seals,and
cotterpinsneedtobereplaced.
Whenyoufastenaseriesofboltsornuts,youshoulddosoinadiagonalpattern.
Warning!Donotuseflammablecleaningfluidtocleancomponentsandparts.
Warning!Afterassembly,makesureallpartsareproperlyassembledandtightened.
Warning!Disconnectthe negativebatteryterminal when performing anymaintenance onthe
motorcycle.
Caution!Beforeassemblyoperations,add lubricating oil or lubricating grease to lubricated
surfaces.
ComponentCleaning
Afterpartsaredisassembled,theymayneedtobecleaned.Cleaningmethodsvaryaccordingtothe
characteristicsoftheparts.
Toremoveoilorgreasecontamination,CSCrecommendsusingSimpleGreenorothersimilar
degreasingagents.
