Thank you for purchasing this fine distribution amplifier (splitter)
for S-Video-based video equipment. These products allow for the
output of S-Video signals to be seen on up to 6 monitors
simultaneously or connected to video equipment depending on the
splitter purchased. Each connection can be located up to 250 feet
away from the splitter.

Limited Warranty
Communications Specialties, Inc. (CSI) warrants that for a period
of three (3) years after purchase by the Buyer, TwinSplit or
HexiSplit for S-Video will be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and service. A Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from CSI before
any equipment is returned by the Buyer.All material must be shipped
to CSI, Hauppauge, New York at the expense and risk of the Buyer.
Units returned to the Buyer will be shipped freight collect.
CSI’s obligation under this warranty will be limited, at its option,
to either repair or replacement of defective units, including free
materials and labor, at its customer service facility in Hauppauge,
NewYork. In no event shall CSI be responsible for any incidental or
consequential damages or loss of profits or goodwill.
CSI shall not be obligated to replace or repair equipment that has
been damaged by fire, war, acts of God, or similar causes, or
equipment that has been serviced, altered, or improperly installed,
or abused.

Thank you for purchasing this fine distribution amplifier (splitter)
for S-Video-based video equipment. These products allow for the
output of S-Video signals to be seen on up to 6 monitors
simultaneously or connected to video equipment depending on the
splitter purchased. Each connection can be located up to 250 feet
away from the splitter.
1. Connect an S-Video cable from the S-Video output of the
computer to the connector on the rear of the splitter marked
VIDEO IN.
2. Connect one or more S-Video monitors or video equipment to
any or all of the MONITOR outputs.
3. Extension cables may be used to support monitor lengths to 250
feet. Communications Specialties sells these extension cables
in various lengths. Contact your dealer for details.
4. Plug the power supply supplied into the jack on the rear of the
splitter marked POWER.
5. Plug the power supply into a 110Vac or 220Vac wall outlet as
appropriate. The front panel LED should glow red indicating the
unit is properly powered.
6. The monitor(s) or video equipment will now display the input
signal.

WARNING: This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and if not installed and used in accordance with
the instruction manual, may cause interference to radio
communications. It has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class A computing device pursuant to Subpart B of Part
15 of FCC Rules, which are designed to provide reasonable
protection against such interference when operated in a commercial
environment. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is
likely to cause interference in which case the user at his own expense
will be required to take whatever measures may be required to correct
the intereference.

If one or two colors are missing on one of the S-Video monitors,
make sure all connections to the splitter are secure. Make sure the
monitor connectors are tight.
One common cause of problems with S-Video connections is
the reversal of the Y (luminance) and C (Chrominance) channels.
This is a common mistake made when trying to make S-Video
connections using separate coax cables and connections for the Y
and C channels.
