FULL SETUP
If you would like more accurate readings you will need to know in advance:
a) Your Stride Length (centimeters or inches) ________________________
b) Your Weight (kilograms or pounds) ______________________________
Note: If you wish the pedometer to display the distance walked in miles you will
need to record your stride length in inches and weight in pounds. If you wish the
pedometer to display the distance walked in kilometers you will need to record your
stride length in centimeters and weight in kilograms.
MEASURING YOUR STRIDE LENGTH
a) As above illustration, walk 10 steps with your normal stride
b) Measure the distance from start to end
c) Calculate your stride by dividing the total distance by 10

Example:
Total Distance = 310”. Therefore, stride = 310” / 10 paces = 31”
Total Distance = 800cm. Therefore, stride = 800cm / 10 paces = 80cm
Once you know your stride length and weight, please follow the numbers 1 to 9 in
the Quick Start Guide above and then continue with step 10 below:
10) Select Kg or Lb (metric or imperial measurements) – If you select KG the
distance walked will be displayed in Kilometers, if you select Lb the distance
walked will be in miles.
Tilt the pedometer Left or Right to select Kg or Lb
11) Press SET button, weight will begin to flash
12) Tilt the pedometer left and hold in position to decrease the values, or tilt
right and hold in position to increase the values.

13) Once the desired value is displayed tilt the pedometer back to the horizontal
position. Press SET button, stride length will flash.
14)Tilt the pedometer left and hold in position to decrease the values, or tilt right
and hold in position to increase the values.
15) Once the desired value is displayed tilt the pedometer back to the horizontal
position. Press SET button, this will exit setup mode and the time will display.

PLACING THE ACTIVITY TRACKER
INTO THE WRISTBAND
When placing the activity tracker into the wristband,
make sure the button of the tracker is on the same
side as the notch on the wristband.
HOW TO WEAR YOUR WRISTBAND
-Center the activity tracker on top of your wrist, so that the SET button faces
away from your hand i.e towards the elbow
-Snap the pin into one of the holes
-Tuck the end into the loop hole

CLOCK FUNCTION
To view the clock, simply press the SET
button. Alternatively, you can tap on the
LCD display consecutively until the clock is
shown.
PEDOMETER FUNCTION
Steps are recorded when you are wearing the pedometer and motion is detected.
The ‘STEP’ icon will start blinking when movement is detected. However, to avoid
counting accidental movement as steps and also to record “active” steps that will
improve your fitness, the counter will wait until you walk 30 steps in a continuous
motion before it begins recording the steps at 31, 32, 33 etc.
a) Step mode
Tap on the display as many times as
necessary until the top of the display
shows the word ‘STEP’. This shows the
number of steps walked since your last
reset from the tracker. It will start
counting once motion is detected.
b) Distance Mode
Tap on the display as many times as necessary until the top line of the display shows
the word ‘ML’ or ‘KM’ (Mile or Kilometer). This displays the distance walked. If you
wish to change miles / km read step 10 in the full setup section.

c) Calories Mode
Tap on the display as many times as necessary until the top line of the display shows
the word ‘KCAL’. This shows the total calories burned.
d) Activity Time
Tap on the display as many times as necessary until
the top line of the display shows the stopwatch icon.
This records the total time in hours and minutes walked.
e) Clearing the pedometer data and resetting to ‘0’
-Tap on the display as many times as necessary until the top line of the display
shows STEP mode
-Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds until the word ‘CLR’ on the
display blinks
-Press SET button to confirm
-All pedometer data will be cleared and reset to ‘0’. Otherwise, if left idle for
10 seconds, it will go back to step mode and keep the data
Note: Pedometer data can only be cleared in step mode.
AUTO SHUT OFF / AUTO RESUME
To conserve battery power, the display will turn off automatically when no motion is
detected for 30 seconds. Once motion is detected, the display will automatically turn
on and resume counting steps.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
The pedometer uses 2 ‘AG-10’(or equivalent size) button cell batteries.
Replace the batteries when the display becomes dim or when the pedometer
function is not working properly.
-Remove the 4 screws from the back cover with a screwdriver
-Take out the old batteries
-Replace with fresh batteries. Make sure they are inserted in their correct
polarity position
-Make sure the battery contact area on the inside of the case is aligned and
touching the battery before screwing it back into place

PERFORMING A SYSTEM RESET
Perform a system reset:
-When the characters on the display become unrecognizable.
-When pressing the SET button or tapping the display has no action.
To reset the system, take the batteries out for 30 seconds, and re-insert them.
If this fails, try replacing the batteries.
Note: All personal data, clock time and pedometer data will be erased.
