W hen in stalli n g the media convert er to th e Chas s is ,
please attac h t wo sli de r s to the m edia convert er
first.
1.
Tak e off 4 screws f rom the m edia conver ter.
2. Fast en t wo sliders wit h screws in top and
bottom location .
Pus h the m edia converte r into CVT-RACK- 16
and f ast e n screws on th e slider of m ed ia
converter.
Pull out the m edia converter with the pulli ng
cable.
Note:
1. For recent media converters, there are 4 reserved screw holes
on laterals or sliders.
2. If your media converters are older versions, please unscrew
first (Refer to Point 1).
3. If your media converters already have reserved lateral holes,
please fasten the sliders directly(Refer to Point 2).

s w a p p a b le f an s f o r en h a n ce d r e l i a b i l i t y.
T his m eans tha t if one sup pl y f ails , the other is
capable of tak ing over im m e diate l y. T he other
benef it is that if po wer sup pl y or f an f ails th en it
can be replace d wit h a n other on e withou t tak ing
back whole CVT-RACK-16.

brackets to the de vic e bef or e f ixing it into the
19-inc h rack . Pleas e ens ur e that the vent ilation
