REFERENCE
The term “engraving pen” in the
warnings refers to your battery-operated
(cordless) engraving tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
Keep work area clean and well-lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite to
accidents. Do not operate engraving tool
in explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Engraving pen create sparks which
may ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away
while operating an engraving pen.
Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
BATTERY SAFETY
• Supervise children
• Only use 5V (volts) chargers with this
tool
• Do not expose tool/charger/battery to
rain
• Do not charge battery in damp or wet
environments.
• Do not use the charger when damaged
• Do not use the charger when cord or
plug is damaged; it might damage the
battery lifetime
• Do not disassemble the battery
• Always turn off the tool before
changing accessories, changing collets,
or servicing the tool.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating an
engraving pen. Do not use an engraving
pen while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A moment of inattention
while operating an engraving pen may
result in serious personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment.
Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Make sure the accessory you chose to
use with your engraving pen is properly
adjusted before turning it on.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the engraving pen in
unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving
parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair
can be caught in moving parts.

pen will do the job better and safer at
