General
This product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one
(1) year from the date of shipment, not including vacuum tubes, which are warranted for
ninety (90) days, or Weber speakers, which are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty
for thirty (30) days. If you believe any Curious Audio LLC product you have purchased has
a defect in material or workmanship or has failed during normal use within the warranty
period, please contact Curious Audio LLC at [phone] or [email protected] for
assistance. If product repair or replacement is necessary, the Customer will be solely
responsible for all shipping charges, freight, insurance and proper packaging to prevent
breakage in transit, whether or not the product is covered by this warranty. All shipments
of repaired or replaced products by Curious Audio LLC will be F.O.B. at the Curious Audio
LLC workshop in Newburgh, IN."
Limitations
This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from any Customer actions, such as
mishandling, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, misapplication,
improper repair, or unauthorized modification. No other warranties are expressed or
implied. Curious Audio LLC specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability
or fitness for a specific purpose. Curious Audio LLC’s liability shall be limited to the actual
purchase price of any defective unit or units of equipment to which a claim is made, and
shall in no event include the Customer’s costs, lost profits or goodwill, or any other direct,
indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages whether based on contract, tort or
other legal theory. Curious Audio LLC shall not be liable for normal manufacturing defects
or customary variances from specifications."
Special Conditions
Products sold by Curious Audio LLC are not designed, intended, or authorized for use in
applications where the failure of the product could create a situation where catastrophic
property damage, personal injury or death may occur. In the event that the Customer
purchases or uses any Curious Audio LLC products for any such unintended or
unauthorized application, the Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless Curious Audio
LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors and assigns
against all claims, costs, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ and
expert witness’ fees) arising out of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, any claim for
property damage, personal injury or death associated with such unintended or
unauthorized use, even if such claim alleges that Curious Audio LLC was negligent
regarding the design or manufacture of the subject product.!

WARNING: Any attempt by the Customer to modify or repair the internal circuitry of
this product will void this warranty. Furthermore, potentially lethal voltages can be
present inside the amplifier even when it is offand unplugged. Should repairs be
necessary, the Customer is strongly encouraged to contact the Authorized
Distributor in their territory.

Input Jack: Accepts any unbalanced instrument source.!
Overdrive (od): Extra gain stage. Pull knob up to bypass. When
engaged, this knob works like a master volume knob.!
Volume (v): Output level with overdrive bypassed / gain adjust in
overdrive mode.!
Tone (t): High frequency cut. Pull knob out to bypass.!
Speed (s): Adjusts the speed of the tremolo effect.!
Lamp & Jewel: 6.3v miniature light bulb (model #47) and jewel cover.

Power Switch: Turns the amplifier on and off.!
Fuse Assembly: 1A (120v), or 1/2A (240v) Slo-Blo 250vac 3AG fuse.!
IEC Connector: Has built-in EMI/RF filtering. Accepts IEC power cord,
recommended no smaller gauge than 18AWG.

Speaker Switch: Turns speaker offfor silent line out operation.!
Line Out: Balanced +4dBu line out, also accepts headphones.!
Bal/Unbal Switch: Select balanced or unbalanced operation for the Line
Out jack. The line out is balanced when this switch is in the up position.!
Footswitch: Footswitch jack to switch on/offtremolo effect.
TUBES/VALVES
We encourage you to experiment with different vacuum tubes to enjoy
the full range of tonal versatility of the Audity One."

V1 - Preamp: Accepts 12AX7 / 7025, or these other similar noval B9A
pinout tubes: 12AY7, 12AZ7, 5751, and 12AD7."
V2 - Tremolo/MV: 12AX7 / 7025 tube. Only sub with exact equivalent
types. Controls the Master Volume channel and tremolo effect."
V3 - Power Amp: 6BQ5 / EL84, 8BQ5 / XL84, or 7189 tube. A 6BQ5 will
be brighter and more aggressive; a 7189 similar to that but with more
headroom, an 8BQ5 will have a darker and cleaner tone."
V4 - Rectifier: 6V4 / EZ80 or 6CA4 / EZ81. Neither tube will have any
noticeable effect on amplifier tone."

HANDY FOOTSWITCH™
Included with your Audity One is the Handy Footswitch™, which is a 1/4”
phono plug wired to engage the tremolo effect when it is inserted into the
footswitch (‘fs’) jack.!
