8. The causes, symptoms and affects of hypertherm a may be descr bed
as follows:
Hypertherm a occurs when the nternal temperature of the body
reaches a level several degrees above the normal temperature of 98.6°F. The
symptoms of hypertherm a nclude an ncrease n the nternal temperature
of the body, d zz ness, lethargy, drows ness and fa nt ng.
