POWERFUL NEW WIRELESS SOLUTIONS FROM D-LINK SET TO LAUNCH IN OCTOBER
D-Link has expanded our line of wireless solutions with three new wireless products launching in October
including two multimode adapters that serve both 802.11a and 802.11b networks. Plus, we are set to release
two new USB 2.0 adapters and two PC Cameras just in time for the holiday selling season. See below for
details….
DI-714P+ - The DI-714P+ is a wireless broadband router that allows users to share
a cable or DSL connection and create an 802.11b wireless network with data
transfer rates up to 22Mbps! An intelligent, Web-based set up wizard allows users
to quickly connect computers to share high-speed Internet access and other
network resources. Plus, the DI-714P+ includes a built-in 4-port switch for
additional connectivity options, a built-in print server, and offers 256-bit WEP
encryption for a higher level of security compared to standard 802.11b products.
The DI-714P+ also incorporates advanced firewall features and parental controls
that are easy to set up with a Web-based user interface.
DWL-AB520 - The D-Link DWL-AB520 is multimode wireless PCI adapter that
simultaneously serves both 802.11a networks at 54Mbps and 802.11b networks at
11Mbps. The DWL-AB520 also supports Advanced Encryption Security (AES) – a
new security standard much more robust than WEP encryption found in existing
wireless solutions. The DWL-AB520 is an ideal solution for users that want a
flexible yet affordable solution that will protect your investment in your current
wireless networking infrastructure.
DWL-AB650 - - The D-Link DWL-AB650 is multimode wireless cardbus adapter
that simultaneously serves both 802.11a networks at 54Mbps and 802.11b networks
at 11Mbps. This flexible adapter serves the mobile professional that needs to have
wireless network access regardless of the standard (802.11a or 802.11b). The
DWL-AB650 also includes security features and robust management capabilities
that make it an excellent solution for users looking to upgrade to a future proof
wireless networking solution.
DUB-C2 – For laptop users that want a quick and easy way to upgrade to the new,
faster USB 2.0 standard, D-Link presents the DUB-C2 – a 2-Port USB 2.0 Cardbus
adapter. The DUB-C2 offers transfer rates up to 480Mbps (40x faster than USB 1.1
solutions) and is backward compatible with existing USB 1.1 solutions.
DFB-A5 – The DFB-A5 is a combination USB 2.0 and Firewire Adapter that offers
users a flexible way to attach peripherals to a PC. The DFB-A5 includes two (2)
USB 2.0 ports that offer transfer rates up to 480Mbps and is backward compatible
with existing USB 1.1 products. In addition, this adapter also includes 3 Firewire
ports (1 internal, 2 external) offering transfer rates up to 400Mbps.
DSB-C110 - The D-Link DSB-C110 PC Camera is a 100K Pixel Resolution USB
Video Camera. The DSB-C110 features 352 x 288 resolution and includes software
to facilitate video conferencing, chat and video e-mail. This unit simply attaches to a
PC via a standard USB connection.

DSB-C310 – D-Link’s DSB-C310 is a 300K Pixel Resolution PC Camera that
includes several robust features at a very affordable price. These features include:
640 x 480 resolution, built-in microphone to add sound to video, snapshot button for
easy still image capture, and software to make the DSC-C310 a complete
audio/video solution.
