manual carefully paying particular attention to the

Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other

•Read and familiarise yourself with all operating
instructions before using this Induction Hob.
•Before plugging your unit into the mains, visually check
that it is intact and has not suffered any transit damage.
•Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate
corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
•DO NOT use this product with a programmer, timer,
separate remote-control system or any other such device.
•DO NOT immerse this appliance in water or any other
liquids.
•Cooking appliances should be positioned in a stable
situation with the handles (if applicable) positioned to
avoid spillage of liquids.
•DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Accessible surfaces are
liable to get during use.
•Oven gloves should be used whilst using the
Induction Hob.
•Close supervision is required when using this appliance
near children.
•Never leave this appliance within reach of children.

•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and
mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use if the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
•Children shall not play with the appliance.
•Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
aged less than 8 years.
•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
•DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during use.
•DO NOT leave the appliance unattended whilst connected
to the mains supply.
•Always use this appliance on a solid, level, non-flammable
surface.
•DO NOT use this appliance outdoors.
•It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the
appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst
being repaired.
•Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the
mains cable to ensure no damage is evident. Should there
be any signs of damage the appliance should not be used.
•If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced
by suitable qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
•DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or
cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or
damaged in any way.
•DO NOT allow the mains cable to hang over sharp edges or
come in contact with hot surfaces.
•Allow the unit to cool before storage.

Suitable Kitchenware
A pan of between 12 and 26cm in diameter is recommended for best results when
using this Induction Hob. Smaller pans are not recommended as sufficient contact
with the element may not be made. Ensure larger pans do not protrude beyond
the edge of the Induction Hob or obscure the Control Panel (4).
As induction cooking uses magnetic fields to heat the pan/vessel, only certain pans
can be used, below are some examples of suitable and non-suitable kitchenware
for this Induction Hob.
Types of Pots & Pans suitable for use with an Induction Hob (Inductive Base)
Steel.
Cast Iron.
Enamelled Iron.
Induction Compatible Stainless-Steel Pans.
Pots & Pans should be flat bottomed, with a diameter of between 12 and 26cm.
Types of Pots & Pans NOT suitable for use with an Induction Hob (Non-Inductive
Base)
Heat resistant glass.
Ceramic.
Copper.
Aluminium.
Do not use rounded bottomed pots and pans.
Do not use pots and pans with stands or legs.
Do not use pots and pans with a diameter of less than 12cm.
Always check the suitability of the pan in the manufacturers care and use
instructions supplied with the pan.

Setting up Your Induction Hob
1. Place the Induction Hob on a solid, level, heat resistant surface clear of all
obstructions as described above.
2. Plug the Induction Hob into a suitable socket outlet.
3. Press the Power ON/OFF Button (6), On will be displayed on the LED Display
(10).
4. Press the Function Button (7) until the required function is indicated by the
desired Pre-Set Function (5) being illuminated.
Pre-Set Functions
1.Stew: This is a manual cooking function with a default setting of 1300W. This
wattage can be adjusted from 200-2000W using the Time/Temp Adjust Buttons
(9). This function will auto shut off after 2 hours.
2.Fry: This is a manual cooking function with a default setting of 2000W. This
wattage can be adjusted from 200-2000W using the Time/Temp Adjust Buttons
(9). This function will auto shut off after 2 hours.
3.Boil: This is a manual cooking function with a default setting of 2000W. This
wattage cannot be adjusted and will auto shut off after 18 minutes.
4.Soup: This is a manual cooking function with a default setting of 1600W. This
wattage cannot be adjusted. After a period of 12 minutes the wattage will
automatically adjust reducing down to 800W, intermittently on and off allowing
the food to simmer. This function will auto shut off after 2 hours.
5.Low heat: This is an automatic cooking function with a default setting of 500W,
which will intermittently switch on and off to keep cooked food warm. The
wattage cannot be adjusted and the function will auto shut off after one 1 hour.
Timer
This hob is fitted with a cooking timer, to use the timer (on any function) press the
Timer Button (8) and then use the Time/Temp Adjust Buttons (9) to set the
cooking time from 1-4 hours. Pressing the Time/Temp Adjust Buttons (9) will
adjust the cooking time in 1 minute increments up/down accordingly, pressing and
holding the Time/Temp Adjust Buttons (9) will adjust the cooking time in 10
minute increments up/down accordingly.
Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
Do not allow pans to boil over as damage may occur to the hob.

Cleaning your Induction Hob
•Always unplug the Induction Hob from the mains supply and allow to cool
before cleaning.
•DO NOT submerge any part of the main body or mains cable in water or any
other liquids.
•Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth.
•Never clean any part of the Induction Hob with harsh or abrasive cleaners.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse needed replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover
missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
If you need to remove the plug -DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS- and then cut it
off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse
the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
