Description of Parts
Before the First Use of Your Steam Iron
1. Remove all packing materials, including the plastic protective cover from the
soleplate and discard responsibly.
2. Ensure all parts are present (if applicable) see Description of Parts above.
3. Wipe the soleplate of the steam iron using a soft, clean damp cloth and dry
thoroughly. DO NOT immerse the steam iron in water or any other liquid.
Whilst using the steam iron for the first time, a little smoke or odour may be
emitted, this is normal and will soon pass.

Setting up Your Steam Iron
1. Do not insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
2. Place the steam iron on a solid, level, and heat
resistant surface at a comfortable height for the
user.
3. Fill the water tank of the steam iron using the
Measuring Cup (12) through Tank Filling
Spout (4) with cold water as shown left.
4. Ensuring water does not exceed the Water Tank
Max Fill Level (5) on the surface of the steam iron in
upright position.
To keep the base smooth and scratch free do not run the iron over metal
objects such as zips, buttons etc.
If your area has hard water it is advisable to use only distilled or demineralised
water.
Disconnect the iron from the mains after use and allow to cool before pouring
out any remaining water.
Do not store the iron with water in the water tank.
WARNING! Do not use chemically de-limed or perfumed water.

Setting the Temperature
1. Refer to the ironing instructions on the garment to be ironed.
2. If the garment doesn’t have any ironing instructions but you know the type of
fabric used in the garment, follow the chart below.
3. Fabrics with special finishes should be ironed at the lowest temperature
setting.
4. With mixed fibres always select the lowest applicable temperature.
5. Group items with similar fibres together, as the iron heats up faster than it
cools, start ironing clothes requiring the lowest temperature first.
6. Set the Temperature Dial (10) to the setting according to the guide below:
Using your Steam Iron
1. Fill the Iron as described in the Setting up Your Steam Iron
section.
2. Place the Iron in the upright position on a stable surface,
then plug the Iron into the mains supply.
3. Set the Steam Adjustment Button (3) to ‘0’ position as
shown right in Fig(a).
4. Set the Temperature Dial (10) as described in the Setting
the Temperature section.
5. The Indicator Light (9) will then stay Red indicated that the
Iron is heating up.
6. Once the Indicator Light (9) turns off indicated that the iron
has reached the temperature and is ready to iron.
During any breaks whilst ironing, always ensure that the iron is placed in the
upright position on a stable surface.

Steam Ironing
1. Set the Temperature Dial (10) to MAX. Steam Ironing is only possible at MAX
temperature, otherwise the water will leak from the soleplate.
2. The Indicator Light (9) will then stay Red indicating that the Iron is heating up.
3. Once the Indicator Light (9) turns off indicates that the iron has reached the
temperature and is ready to iron.
4. Set the steam output on the Steam Adjustment Button (3) as shown below
and position the iron horizontally.
5. After few seconds, the steam will be generated from the soleplate.
During any breaks whilst steam ironing, always set the steam output to “0”
and place the iron in the upright position.
Do not press the Steam Trigger (1) button otherwise the water will leak from
the soleplate.
The steam can only emit when the iron is placed horizontally.
Spray Function
1. Press the Spray Button (2) to use the Spray Function.
Steam Burst Function
1. Set the Steam Adjustment Button (3) to ‘0’ position.
2. Press the Steam Trigger (1) button to use the Steam Burst Function.

Using the Cordless Feature
Once the desired temperature has been reached,
press the Unlock Button (8) to detach the base
with the cable then you can use the iron freely.
Self-Cleaning Function
Your iron will give the best ironing results and last longest if you apply the Self-
Cleaning once a month, or more depending upon the usage.
1. Fill the water tank to half with water.
2. Position the iron in the upright position on a stable surface.
3. Plug the Iron into the mains supply.
4. Turn the Temperature Dial (10) to MAX.
5. Allow the iron to heat up until the Indicator Light (9) turns off.
6. Unplug the iron from the mains power supply.
7. Keep the iron horizontally over the sink.
8. Set and hold the Steam Adjustment Button (3) to
SELF CLEAN position as shown right, boiling water
and steam will then emit from the soleplate after
few seconds.
9. Move the iron forwards and backwards
until the water tank is empty.
10. Release the Steam Adjustment Button (3) then it will go back to ‘0’.
11. Plug the Iron into the mains supply.
12. Turn the Temperature Dial (10) to MAX, then let the iron heat up again. The
remaining water inside the steam chamber will now vaporize through the
soleplate.
During this process of dry steaming, it is recommended to use it over an old
piece of cloth.

Anti-Calc Function
The anti-calc function can remove the limescale and impurities from the water. It
is recommended this is performed regularly to prolong the efficiency of the steam
iron by following the steps below:
1. Make sure the steam iron is unplugged from the mains power supply and has
fully cooled.
2. Fill the water cup with 3/4 full, add descaling solution until water tank is to
MAX (follow instruction on descaling solution).
3. Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking occasionally, and
then empty it.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the iron is descaled.
5. Fill the tank with fresh water to rinse and empty.
Care and Storage
•Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance, ensure that the steam iron is
unplugged from the mains power supply and has fully cooled.
•Wipe the soleplate with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly, after pouring off
any remaining water. The body of the iron can also be wiped down with a soft
damp cloth, do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning products.
•Empty the iron immediately after each use. Do not store the iron with water in
it.
Not emptying the water will damage the iron.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician. Never use a mains plug with the fuse cover missing.
If you need to remove the plug –DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS –and then cut it
off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse
the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
