monitorfirst.
§Placethe LCDmonitoron asolid surfaceand treat it carefully. TheLCD monitor isfragile and

keepit away from hot stoves, fireplaces, and othersourcesof heat.
§Unplug the LCD monitorfrom the electricoutlet beforeany serviceisperformed.
§Unplug the LCD monitorbeforecleaningthe panel ofthe LCD monitor.
§Useslightly damp (not wet) cloth.
§Donot throwaway the carton and packing materials.They makeanideal containerto
transport the unit. When shipping the unit toanotherlocation, repackit in itsoriginal material.

§Useonly the powercordsuppliedtogetherwiththe LCD monitorinthe accessory pack.

Unpacking/ Repacking the LCD Monitor
The indicatedsafety lock will keep
the monitor’sbasearmin the up-right
position. Pressing the button will

Thisconnection describedhereinappliestoPCcompatible withVideo Graphics Array (VGA)port and
optional Digital Video Input(DVI). Thisalsoappliestoany graphicsvideo cardfor PCorworkstation
that hasaVGA connector.
1. Beforeconnecting, poweroff boththe monitorandPC.
2. Connect the VGA connectorof the supplied signal cable tothe output VGA connectoron the PC
and the matching input connectoron therearof the LCDmonitor. If yourpackage include optional
DVI cable,connect the DVI cable tothe output DVI connectorfrom the PCand thematchinginput
connectortothe rearof theLCD monitor.
3. Securethe connectorby tighteningthe thumbscrewat the connector.
4. Connect your audio output connectoron the PCtothe audio input jack behindthemonitorwiththe
supplied 3.5mm stereo speakeraudio cable.
5. Connect the supplied poweradaptertothe DC input jack.
6. Connect the supplied powercable tothe poweradapterand plugin the suppliedpowercabletoa
poweroutlet.
7. PowerONthePC, then the monitor.
8. If you areusing Microsoft WindowsOperating System, pleaserefertoWindowsdriverinstallation
guide toproceed withsoftwaredriversetup.
9. If you see the “Nosignal”message, checkthe signalcable and connectors. Pleasereferto
Troubleshooting section for furtherinstruction.
10.Afterusing theLCDmonitor, powerOFFthe monitor, beforeturningoff the PC.
