5. METHODS OF EXCHANGING MAIN PARTS
1) Remove knob by pulling
2) Remove the F-louver by pulling forward with inserting
screw driver into the hole of F-louver.

1) Remove the louver insulator by pulling forward with case by
hand so as not to break it.

4. Bi-metal
1) Cut off the cable tie.
2) Take out the bimetal.
5. Temperature fuse
1) Remove the temperature fuse out of evaporator pipe by
screw driver.

6. Defrost heater
1) Unscrew the one screws securing the evapoator.
2) Pull the accumulator slightly to the arrow direction.
3) Move evaporator forward as the figure and make working
space to remove glass heater whith situates under the bottom
of evaporator.
(This is the same removing procedure as. However, do not
remove the welded points.)
*Take care not to brnd the pipe connrcted to accumulator.
4) Take out the defrost heater from the heater fixure without
removing the heater cover (upper,lower) (Donot apply too
much force on the heater fixture.)

5) Strip the aluminum tape fixing the defrost heater and cut
both of lead wire.
6) Remove two (white and gray) defrost heater terminals among
the lead wires mounted on left wall.
7) Detach the upper and lower part of heater cover from defrost
heater by knife.
8) Assembly procedure after replacing defrost heater.
a.Assemble the upper and lower part of heater cover.
b.Lead wire is arranged as shown in figure.
c.Attach aluminum tape after removing water.
d.When put evaporator, take care not to strip lead wire.

7. Evaporator
1) Remove evaporator after removing temperature fuse and
bimetal.
2) Remove two welded points
3) Remove one evaporator fixing screws
4) Extract evaporator forward with minimizing the pipe
deformation after grasping the both sides of evaporator and
pulling accumulator slightly forward.
(This work without fan motor will be easier than with it.)

8. Fan motor
1) Dismantle fan motor by removing two screws.
9. Door switch
1) Remove the door switch out of cabinet by inserting "-"
screwdriver to the inside of rubber packing. (Take care no to
damage the rubber packing.)
10. Gasket
1) Detach the gasket after removing screw as shown in figure

11. R-Damper
1) After pressing both bottom surfaces of shade and pulling
forward
2) To exchange the interior lamp,unscrew the lamp
counterclockwise
3) Unscrew 2 screws
4) Pull forward lightly to detach
5) Detach the housing

6) Cut the 2 sealing material attached on the top
7) Separate insulated object A and B by detaching or cutting
the OPP tape
8) Take off the cotton tape covered the R-damper sensor
9) Remove gear by inserting "-" screw driver

10) Spread out the R-damper sensor
11) Take out the damper by separating the damper insulated
object A and B
1. Replace the tape or seal to the original
positions.
2. Do not block the cool air discharge duct.
(Possible interruption by tape or seal).
3. Attach the damper sensor in S-shape to the
insulated object for easy assembly.
