Operating Environments
LED technology differs from previous forms of lighting. The driver is capable of accepting a range of input voltages, but
requires a consistent supply of power. Drivers are able to withstand minor voltage drops and surges, but should not be
subject to frequent power fluctuations. The fixture should not be operated at voltage and current inputs below or
exceeding those listed under the unit’s operating parameters. Lighting circuits should be designed to ensure sufficient
and stable voltage and current are delivered to the unit.
Temperature limits for hazardous locations are listed on the certificate of conformance as well on the product label
attached to the fixture and presented later in this document. For optimal performance and longevity, the standard
operational environment of the fixture should not routinely exceed 35°C. Continuous operation at high ambient
temperatures will decrease the longevity of the driver. Under abnormally high ambient temperatures, the driver will
decrease power output as ambient temperatures approach and exceed 50oC and may go into protection mode.
Wiring
Wiring of this product must be performed by a qualified electrician and all electrical connections made in accordance
with the National Electrical Code, any applicable local code requirements and hazardous location requirements.

Mounting
Fixture may become damaged and/or unstable if not installed properly. This fixture should be mounted using the
mounting bracket provided. Do not mount in a fashion that putts strain on the electrical cord or cord connector. Note:
Fixture may become damaged and/or unstable if not installed properly.
Ensure that all mounting hardware is fully tightened and will not loosen. If mounted in areas subject to vibration,
ensure mounting methodology will not allow wear or shear on mounting hardware. A secondary method of securing
the fixture to the support can be employed as an additional safety measure.
Maintenance
Perform visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections on a regular basis. The environmental and operating conditions,
in conjunction with a preventive maintenance program, should be used to determine inspection frequency. We
recommend an Electrical Preventive Maintenance Program as described in the National Fire Protection Association
Bulletin NFPA No. 70B: Recommended Practice For Electrical Equipment Maintenance (www.nfpa.org).
To prevent heat build-up, remove dust from the LED housing. The lens should be cleaned periodically to ensure
continued lighting performance. Do not use an abrasive, strong alkaline or acid cleaner as damage may result.
