Precaution
♦Don’t cover the rope light or place in an area where heat can’t escape. It will cause the
rope light overheat and melt.
♦Don’t turn on the rope light before it is uncoiled. This will cause it overheat.
♦ Don’t ex and bent the rope light continuously.
♦Don’t submerge the rope light in water.
♦Don’t put the rope light in a damp area without the connector joints being sealed with
silicon glue.
Rope light is water tight but when used outdoors in an area that is damp
or could get wet, seal all connections with silicone or silicone tape. Never
submerge in water.
Installation
Where do I cut the rope light?
There is a scissor mark on the rope indicating where to cut. Be very careful to cut cleanly
and only where indicated. If you cut elsewhere, it will ruin that stretch of light and cause it to
go dark. After you have cut the rope light, don’t forget to trim the copper wires from the cut
ends.
How do I attach the connector kit to the rope light?
a. Place the plastic end-cap on the end of the rope farthest from where the power source will
be. The end cap is necessary to prevent water from getting in to the rope light wiring and
creating an electrical short circuit.

b. Place the power cord kit on the other end of rope light and connect this power cord
connector with the rope light as the photos. There are two ways.
c. Use the splice connector to connect different length or different color rope light together.

How to mount the rope light?
You can use a mounting clip or mounting channel to attach the rope light with place which
you want.
Application
It is easy to be installed and widely used for outdoor landscape, decorating around a patio or
barbecue area, entry ways, doorways, out line rooms, or use as rooights. You can put them
in the kitchen underneath or above the cabinets. You can also use them on your boat or RV.
