SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Every person involved with the installation, operation and maintenance of this system has to:

-follow the instructions of this manual
Before you initial start-up, please make sure that there is no damage caused by transportation. Should
there be any, consult your dealer and do not use the system.
To maintain perfect condition and to ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to
follow the safety instructions and warning notes written in this manual.
Please consider that damages caused by manual modifications to the system are not subject to
warranty.
This system contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer servicing to qualified technicians only.
IMPORTANT:
The manufacturer will not accept liability for any resulting damages caused by the non-
observance of this manual or any unauthorized modification to the system.
Never let the power-cord come into contact with other cables! Handle the power-cord and all
connections with the mains with particular caution!
Never remove warning or informative labels from the unit.
Never use anything to cover the ground contact.
Never leave any cables lying around.
Do not insert objects into air vents.
Do not connect this system to a dimmerpack.
Do not switch the system on and off in short intervals, as this would reduce the system’s life.
Do not open the device and do not modify the device.
Only use system indoor, avoid contact with water or other liquids.
Avoid flames and do not put close to flammable liquids or gases.
Always disconnect power from the mains, when system is not used. Only handle the power-cord
by the plug. Never pull out the plug by tugging the power-cord.
Make sure you don’t use the wrong kind of cables or defective cables.
Make sure that the available voltage is not higher than stated on the rear panel.
Make sure that the power-cord is never crimped or damaged. Check the system and the power-
cord from time to time.
Please turn off the power switch, when changing the power cord or signal cable, or select the
input mode switch.
CAUTION!
Keep this system away from rain and moisture!
CAUTION! Be careful with your operations.
With a dangerous voltage you can suffer
a dangerous electric shock when touching the wires!

Extreme frequency boosts in connection with a high input signal level may lead to overdriving
your equipment. Should this occur, it is necessary to reduce the input signal level by using the
INPUT control.
If system is dropped or struck, disconnect mains power supply immediately. Have a qualified
engineer inspect for safety before operating.
If the system has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do
not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your system. Leave
the system switched off until it has reached room temperature.
If your Dap Audio device fails to work properly, discontinue use immediately. Pack the unit
securely (preferably in the original packing material), and return it to your Dap Audio dealer for
service.
Repairs, servicing and electric connection must be carried out by a qualified technician.
For replacement use fuses of same type and rating only.
WARRANTY: Till one year after date of purchase.
OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
If this system is operated in any other way, than the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the warranty becomes void.
Any other operation may lead to dangers like short-circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

Installation
Remove all packing materials from the CD Player. Check that all foam and plastic padding is removed..
Connect all cables.
Always disconnect from electric mains power supply before cleaning or servicing.
Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
Set Up and Operation
Before plugging the unit in, always make sure that the power supply matches the product specification
voltage. The power supply is printed on the back of the device.
Do not attempt to operate a 120V specification product on 230V power, or vice versa.
Connections
1. Turn off the POWER switch.
2. Connect the RCA cable to the input of your mixer.
CAUTION: Be sure that the power is off, when connecting the cables.

Functions
NAMES AND FUNCTIONS
Below is a description of the functions of the controls.
Frontpanel
1) TIME (Time button): Press this button to switch the TIME-Display between the elapsed time and
remaining time. The selected mode is indicated by the ELAPSED, REMAIN and TOTAL REMAIN
indicator on the LCD.
2) SINGLE: Press this button to switch between the SINGLE and CONTINUOUS play mode.
The selected mode is indicated on the LCD. In SINGLE mode, the unit stops playing after each track.
In CONTINUOUS mode, the unit plays all tracks and then stops.
3) PROGRAM (Program-button): Press the Program-Button, the player will enter the program mode and
stop the CD playback.
4) REPEAT: Use this button to repeat one track or all tracks of the CD.
5) B. SKIP : Use this button to go back to the beginning of the current track or select a previous track
for playing.
6) +10 (Track + 10 Button): Use the button to skip forward 10 tracks.
7) F.SKIP : Use this button to skip to the next track.
8) Loop IN: Press this button to set the startpoint of the loop.
9) Loop OUT: Press this button to set the endpoint of the loop.
10) RELOOP: This button is used to start the last saved loop. To finish the loop, press the RELOOP button.
11) PITCH System: If you push this button, you can adjust the pitch with the pitch fader.
12) PITCH BEND –button: The CD slows down while this button is pressed. Release the button to return to
the original BPM.
13) PITCH BEND + button: The CD speeds up while this button is pressed. Release the button to return to
the original BPM.
14) FADER: Use this fader to adjust the CD pitch. Slide up to decrease the pitch, slide down to
increase the pitch.
15) SEARCH: Press for quick forward or backward.
16) EJECT: Press this button to open and close the disc
holder. The disc holder cannot be opened during playback, so stop playback before pressing the
button.
17) CUE: Press the CUE button during playback to return to the position at which playback is started.
18) PLAY/PAUSE-button : Use this button to start playback. Press once to start playback, twice to set
The pause mode, and twice to resume playback.
19) SHUTTLE Wheel: The shuttle wheel is used for setting cues and performing a fast search.
20) LCD Display
21) CD/ USB: To select between CD or USB mode.
22) USB port: Used to connect either a USB stick or your computer. USB port is only active when you’re in
USB mode.

Operations
1. Loading a CD
• Hold the disc by the edges and push it gently in the disc slot. The Disc will now be loaded
automatically.
2. Unloading CD’s
• The disc can not be ejected during playback. Stop the playback first.
• Press the EJECT button. The disc will be ejected.
• If the movement of the disc stops, take the disc by the edges and remove it completely from the slot.
CAUTION:
• Do not place any foreign objects in the disc slot and do not try to place more than one disc in the disc
Slot at a time.
•Do not push the disc in manually when the power is off, as this may result in malfunction and
damages the player.
3. Loading CD’s
• Hold the disc by the edges and place it in the disc holder, then press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close
The holder. The unit will show the total track number and the total playing time for about 2 seconds and
then enter the cue condition. The cue point will be set to the music’s starting point of the first track
automatically.
CAUTION:
• Do not place any foreign objects in the disc holder and do not place more than one disc in the disc
holder at a time.
•Do not push the disc holder in manually when the power is off, as this may result in malfunction and
damages the player.
4. MP3-discs
MP3 is an audio compression mode using level 3 of the international MPEG standard, whereby the sound
signal is compressed at the ratio of 12:1. An MP3 disc can record music for playback over 600 minutes or
record over 170 songs in a sound quality that fully matches the sound quality of CD’s.
How to playback a MP3 disc
When playing an MP3 disc you can chose between the following menu’s by pressing the PROG key: FILE
LIST and FOLDER LIST.
1.FOLDER LIST
First the menu is displayed, then press the arrow keys UP/DOWN and LEFT/ Right and then ENTER to
select the subdirectory and music.
2.FILE LIST
Here you can select the files to be played by pressing the keys UP/ DOWN and LEFT/ RIGHT and then
ENTER. It is also possible to select a track direct by pressing the numbered keys followed by ENTER. If the
entered number is not available the message “INPUT INVALID” will be displayed.
PLAY MODE
Four different play modes are available: FOLDER, SINGLE, REPEAT ONE, REPEAT FOLDER and SHUFFLE.
When you press REPEAT during playback, you can choose between the following play modes:
1.FOLDER: Plays the entire music menu in normal order.
2.SINGLE: Plays one music track.
3.REPEAT ONE: Repeats a single track several times.
4.REPEAT FOLDER: Plays music tracks in random order.

5. Selecting Tracks
• Press the SKIP-button to move to a higher or lower track.
• Hold the SKIP button to change tracks continuously at a higher speed.
• When a new track is selected during playback, playback begins as soon as the skip search operation is
completed.
• If the Skip-button is pressed while at the last track, the first track is selected. In the same way,
If the Skip- button is pressed while at the first track, the last track is selected.
6. Starting Playback
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button during the pause or cue condition to start playback, the PLAY indicator
lights.
• The point at which playback starts is automatically stored in the memory as the cue point. The CD
Player then returns to the cue point when the CUE button is pressed.

7. Stop Playback
There are two ways to stop playback:
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button during playback to pause at that point.
2. Press the CUE button during playback to return to the cue point and enter pause condition.

8. Pausing
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to switch between play and pause.
• The play indicator flashes when the pause mode is set.
• Playback resumes when the PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed again.
9. Setting a Cue Point
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to switch between play and pause.
• The play indicator flashes when the pause mode is set.
• Turn the Shuttle wheel to go to your desired CUE point.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again and your CUE point has been stored and the CD will continu.
10. Cueing
• "Cueing" is the action of preparing for playback.
• Press CUE button, the player will enter CUE-Mode, the playback returns to cue point and enter pause
condition, the CUE indicator lights up and the PLAY indicator flashes. When PLAY/PAUSE button is
pressed, play starts from the cue point.
• When the track search operation is completed after pressing the SKIP buttons, the player automatically
finds the position at which the sound starts and cues there (Auto Cue).
• If the CUE button is pressed after the search operation or the scanning operation, the playback returns
to the cue point and enters pause condition.
