Feature Overview Specifications
The EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch
allow you to control multiple PCs, easily
and affordably, With just one keyboard,
monitor, mouse and USB, There is no
software and no external power supply to
install or boards to configure, so
installation is simple. EDS-301 KVMU
Electronic Switch works with IBM PC/AT,
PS/2 and USB systems with support for
VGA and SVGA video. PS/2 keyboard,
PS/2 mouse and USB peripherals are
supported through the real of the unit.
EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch
supports the following additional
features:
PS/2 mouse translation –Your PS/2 mouse
will work with any attached PC, regardless of
whether the computer is serial or PS/2 mouse
compatible.
Extensive Mouse Support –The
EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch offers
full support for the Logitech MouseMan

EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch Installing Procedures
As the following illustration, after finishing the cable connecting among the computers, the
EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch and the monitor/keyboard/mouse/USB, power on any
computer in the system, EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch will set up the default channel
one (Ch1) automatically, That is to say, all the keyboard /mouse /monitor /USB are
connecting to the first computer. Power on the first computer (Computer 1), you could run
the O/S to accomplish.
If you’d like to switch to the second computer (computer 2), after you verify the first
computer have run the O/S to accomplish, power on the second computer (Computer2),
and press the second button (Switch 2) on the front panel of EDS-301 KVMU Electronic
Switch.
Remark: Before running the O/S to accomplish, please don’t try to switch to other
computers for that it may lead to some O/S’ improper work.
Similarly, after you verify the second computer have run the O/S to accomplish, then
power on the third computer and press the third button (Switch 3) on the front panel of
EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch for switching to the third computer (Computer3). Thus
all the installing procedures have been completed. By the buttons on the front panel of
EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch, you could switch to every computer optionally.

Notice:
No Video/Keyboard/Mouse/USB
Verify that the Video monitor /Keyboard/Mouse/USB cables between the computer and the
EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch is connected to the selected port. Verify that the Video
monitor /Keyboard/Mouse/USB cables is correctly to the EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch
unit. Power down the computer. Connect the Video monitor/Keyboard/ Mouse/USB Directly
to the computer and power up again. If the Video monitor/Keyboard/ Mouse/USB does not
operate correctly direct to the computer, try another cable or monitor. Verify that the cables
from the computer to the EDS-301 KVMU Electronic Switch views are connected properly.
