Certification training for the Datacard™MJ7500™card personalization system
enables operators and system administrators to acquire the specialized knowledge
and skills necessary to keep this powerful system running at optimal productivity
and producing the high-quality solutions you need to grow your business.
• Maximize productivity. With an in-depth understanding of the system’s day-to-
day operation, maintenance and configurations, your team can align the system’s
capabilities with specific job requirements and help increase productivity. You
will also be able to fine-tune the system continuously to help improve uptime.
• Minimize service calls. Hands-on training provides the experience operators
need to handle routine maintenance issues as they occur, without taking the time
to place a service call. This means your team can resolve many issues in-house
and keep the MJ7500 system running.
• Improve flexibility. Knowing exactly what the MJ7500 system can do creates
opportunities to build your business. For example, the training can help you
quickly determine how to meet new customer needs, estimate how quickly new
jobs can be finished, manage customer expectations more effectively and
improve overall service levels.

COURSE OVERVIEW
MJ7500 System Certification Training includes two components: Operator Training and System Administrator Training.
The entire course takes five days to complete.
OPERATOR TRAINING COMPONENT
Operator Training focuses on the skills required to perform the day-to-day tasks of running production jobs on the
MJ7500 system, including:
• Start-up and shut-down procedures
• Selecting jobs and starting/stopping job production
• Loading and unloading of all applicable system supplies
• Routine adjustments and maintenance of various system components
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR TRAINING COMPONENT
System Administrator Training builds on the objectives of the operator training component, focusing on the more
complex tasks of analyzing data files and creating system configurations that enable the system to run the specific
requirements of various production jobs.These tasks include:
• Manipulating data files to suit the system requirements
• Creating system configurations to match job requirements
• Creating layouts for the printer, magnetic stripe encoder, labeler and camera verification components to support
specific job requirements
ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
Operators who are only responsible for the operator tasks listed in the description above need to complete the
Operator Training component only. This component generally occurs during the first two days of the course.
System Administrators who are responsible for configuration and layout tasks must complete both the Operator and
System Administrator components.
