DataCard C3000 User manual

C3000 and C6000 Card Delivery Systems
Stand-alone solutions
for highly productive
card delivery
The C3000 and C6000 card
delivery systems bring automated
efficiency and security to high-
volume card delivery programs
throughout the world. These two
stand-alone systems transform
personalized cards and carriers
into mail-ready packages more
productively than ever.
Easy-to-use, software-driven
controls make each step in the
card delivery process—from card
affixing, to envelope insertion, to
fixed metering—secure, flexible
and fast. Adaptable hardware
configurations allow you to
customize each system to meet
specific card issuer needs.
The C3000 and C6000 systems are
ideal complements to high-volume
Datacard®card personalization
solutions, including the Datacard®
Maxsys™card issuance system. The
combination of speed, reliability
and precision helps card operations
of all sizes achieve aggressive
productivity and profitability goals.
Up to 6,000 mailings
per hour
The C6000 system easily keeps
pace with the highest volume
programs. It affixes up to four cards
per form and can create up to 6,000
mail-ready packages per hour. It
accommodates a broad range of
form sizes, letting you incorporate
unique packaging ideas into
mailings. Like the C6000 system,
the C3000 system can be tailored to
meet customer requirements, while
affixing up to six cards per form
and creating up to 3,000 complete
mailings per hour.
Track every card and
card carrier
Both systems have sensors that
track every card and card carrier
from the beginning of the process
through envelope insertion. Each
system is able to determine if a
card and card carrier do not match
and can be programmed to reject a
card or card carrier without operator
intervention. An audit trail feature
tracks all rejected cards and forms
for total accountability.
Affix cards in any location
A flexible card placement
feature—standard with both
systems—lets you affix cards
almost anywhere on a form. This
results in a more professional look
than traditional die-cut forms.
Both systems also offer several
different paper inputs such as cut
sheet, single-sheet continuous feed
and “two-up” continuous feed. You
can configure one or more paper
inputs together to accommodate
a wide range of card delivery
needs—even within the same run.
The ability to deliver personalized
inserts also helps you accommodate
one-to-one marketing strategies.
Save time, cut costs and
improve security
The C3000 and C6000 systems
consolidate the steps associated with
card delivery into a single, seamless
process for dramatic time and cost
savings. This reduces the chances
for errors and speeds throughput.
It also greatly improves security for
your operations as a whole and on
an individual card level.
Optional inline printing
Both the C3000 and C6000 systems
can be configured to print forms as
part of the inline process. High-
quality laser printing lets you print
messages for cardholders quickly
and efficiently.
