Mounting Instructions
ASSEMBLING THE VMK-P096
To assemble the VMK-P096, follow the steps below:
1. Attach the mounting plate found in the BC96XX package onto the VMK-P096 mounting platform by screwing 4 short
screws into the four vertical holes.
2. Insert the U-bolts into the grooves on the VMK-P096 mounting platform, as shown below;

GENERAL FEATURES
The VMK-P096 is a special mount for the BC96XX,
used to attach the base station to a vehicle, such as a
forklift.
The mounting kit contains the following components:
•1 mounting platform
•2 U-bolts
•2 fixing bolts and 4 hexagon stop nuts
•1 wall bracket
•8 short screws M3x8

3. Remove the adhesive strips protecting the mounting tabs on the back of the BC96XX base station (Figure 1), and slide
the base station on the metal plate. After aligning the tabs, push up to lock into place (Figure 2).
4. Fix the cradle to the VMK-P096 with two screws (Figure 3).
Mounting to Vehicle
Use the fixing U-bolts and the hexagon stop nuts (included in the kit) to mount the assembly on the vehicle as shown
below.

Mounting the Scanner Wall Bracket
To mount the wall bracket to the base station follow
the steps below and refer to the figures at right:
1. Remove the wall bracket label;
2. Fix the wall bracket onto the base station with 2
screws.
