• Beforeusingtheapplianceforthersttime,removeany
paperandothermaterialinsidetheovensuchasprotective
cardboard,booklets,plasticbags,etc.
• Before using the appliance for the rst time, wash the
bowl,paddleandlidinhotwaterandwashingupliquid.
Attheendoftheoperation,dryallcomponentsthoroughly
andremoveanywaterleftinthebottomofthebowl.
• It is normal for the appliance to give o a“new” smell
whenusedforthersttime.Ventilatetheroom.
• Theappliancemustbekeptatadistanceofatleast20cm
fromthemainspowersockettowhichitisconnected.

SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
Please note: Beforeusingtheapplianceforthersttime,
washthebowl(F),paddle(E)andremovableviewingwindow
(C)inhotwaterandneutralwashingupliquid.
Proceedasfollows:
• Openthelid(A)bypressingbutton(Q)(g.1).
• Releasetheremovableviewingwindow(C)bypressingthe
twobuttons(S)(g.2).
• Liftthebowlhandgrip(H)untilyouheara“click”(g.3).
• Extractthebowl(F)bypullingupwards(g.4).
• Extractthepaddle(E)fromitshousing(g.5).
• Washthebowl(F),paddle(E)andremovableviewingwin-
dow(C)(g.6).
• Attheendoftheoperation,dryallcomponentsthoroughly
andremoveanywaterleftinthebottomofthebowl(F).
COOKING WITH THE PADDLE
Please note: Thistypeofcookingisparticularlysuitable
forcookingpotatoes.
• Putthebowl(F)backintheappliancebody(M),making
sureitiscorrectlypositioned.
• Lowerthebowlhandgrip(H)usingtheslide(G)(g.7).
• Insertthepaddle(E),makingsureitiscorrectlypositioned
onthepinatthebottomofthebowl.
• Placetheingredientstobecookedinthebowl(F),respect-
ingthequantitiesgiveninthecookingtables/recipes.
• Ifrequiredbythecookingprocedure,addoil,referringto
thequantitiesindicatedinthecookingtables/recipesand
usingthemeasure(I).
• Closethelid(A).
• Plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket.
• PresstheON/OFFbutton(P).Thelightinthebuttoncomes
on.Thelowerheatingelementactivatesimmediately.The
upperheatingelementwillturnonwhenthelidisclosed.
• Cookingbegins.
• Setthecookingcountdownbypressingthebuttononthe
timer(N)(g.8).Theminutessetappearonthedisplay.
• Immediatelyafterwards,thenumbersbegintoash.This
meansthecookingtimehasbegun.
Thelastminuteisdisplayedinseconds.
• Ifyoumakeamistake,youcansetthenewcookingtime
byholdingthebuttondownformorethantwoseconds.
Whenthedisplayhasreset,repeattheoperation.
• Thetimerindicatestheendofcookingtimewithtwoseries
ofbeepsseparatedbya20secondgap.
Toturnothesignal,justpressthetimerbutton.

EXTRACTING THE TIMER
• Toextractthetimer(N)fromitshousing,presstheleftside
ofthedisplay,thenturn(g.9)andpullo(g.10).
• Toputthetimerback,threaditontothepinsinthehousing
andpushasfarasitwillgountilitcatches(g.11),then
turnasshowning.12.
Please note: To replace the timer battery, contact the
manufacturer’sauthorisedCustomerExperience.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Danger! Beforecleaningtheappliance,alwaysunplug
fromthemainssocketandallowtocool.
Neverimmersetheapplianceinwaterandneverplaceunder
runningtapwater.
Ifwatergetsintotheappliance,itcouldcauseelectricshock.
• Wash the bowl (F), paddle (E) and viewing window (C)
thoroughlywithhotwaterandneutralwashingupliquid.
Thebowlisdishwatersafe.Frequentwashingcouldreduce
thepropertiesoftheceramiccoating.
• Cleanthehotairdischargegrille(B)withoutremovingit.
Please note: Do not use sharp, abrasive or metallic
utensils to remove food from the bowl as this can
damage the ceramic coating. Clean with a soft cloth
and neutral detergent only.
