PRODUCT OVERVIEW
GETTING STARTED
Before First Use
•CHECK the condition the product has been received in. If any parts appear broken or there is any damage to
the cord/plug, the product should not be used and should be returned for replacement.
•CLEAN If you are using the Frypan for first time, it is recommended to boil a pan of water (fill half way) and then
discard the water. Wipe the cooking surfaces with a sponge or dishcloth in hot soapy water, rinse well. Then wipe
the surface down with a damp cloth. NEVER use steel wool or other abrasive cleaning pads as this will cause
permanent damage to the cooking surface.
•WARNING: Ensure the inlet connector is thoroughly dried after washing and before use.
•CONDITION - The cooking surface should be conditioned to ensure non stick cooking. Apply a thin coat of
cooking oil with a cloth or paper towel to the cooking surface. Turn the thermostat control onto high and leave to
operate for several minutes. Switch off and allow to cool.
CAUTION: Don't turn to "MAX" and dry boil for long time without water or liquid, this may damage the heating
element and the non stick coating.
NOTE: When your Frypan is heated for first time, it may emit slight smoke or odour. This is normal with many
heating appliances and is not hazardous. This does not affect the safety of your appliance, it should disappear
after few minutes of use. Use in a ventilated area with airflow to help disperse.
1. Cool touch lid knob
2. Cool touch Handles
3. Removable thermostat controller
4. Tempered glass lid
5. Non-stick coating cooking surface.

USING YOUR FRYPAN
1). Ensure you are cooking on a dry, level and heat resistant surface.
WARNING: Always allow 20cm of space around the exterior of the appliance when in use. Never use near curtains,
under cupboards or near flammable materials.
2). Connect the thermostat controller with the frying pan by aligning the pins into the appliance inlet surround, fully
insert coupler into the inlet.
WARNING: Always ensure the inlet and coupler are clean and dry and free from foreign objects.
Note, if the coupler cannot be inserted, check that there are no foreign objects in the appliance inlet. Also, check
that the inlet pins have not been bent out of shape (forcibly inserting the coupler at the wrong angle can cause
damage).
3). Connect the power cord and plug into a socket outlet, taking care to ensure placement of the supply cord avoids
contact with any hot surfaces. Switch the socket outlet on.
4). Brush the cooking surface with a small amount of cooking oil.
5). Adjust the controller temperature dial to your desired setting.
6). Allow several minutes for the frying pan to reach the set temperature before adding food items.
7). When cooking complete, turn the controller to "0", switch the wall socket off, disconnect the supply plug from the
socket outlet and leave the appliance to cool.
8). When cooled, follow the cleaning and maintenance section later in this manual.
NOTE:
• If frying with oil, etc, use extreme caution, if the oil is over-heated, it may catch on fire. Should this
occur, DO NOT try to extinguish the fire with water as this will only spread. Use a fire blanket to
extinguish the flames.
•This Electric frypan is not suitable for deep frying.
•The controller marking "0" does not indicate "OFF", this only indicates the lowest temperature
setting.
•The indicator light on the controller will turn on while the pan is heating and will turn off when the pan
has reached the desired set temperature.
•You will notice during cooking that the indicator light will turn on and off at different intervals which
indicates the temperature setting is being maintained.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•It is important to look after the non-stick coating on your pan to ensure trouble free operation. Using
a non-stick surface allows you to cook without fats or oils.
•Do not let the Frypan get too hot without either oil or food on the cooking surface as high
temperatures can cause discoloration of the surface and will reduce the life of the non-stick surface.
•Normally, a medium heat setting on your pan will give adequate heat for most of your cooking
requirements.
•If high temperatures are required for your cooking needs, it is best to introduce the heat slowly by
preheating the pan on a medium setting for a few minutes before turning the heat up further.
•The use of plastic or wooden utensils will prolong the life of the non-stick coating. Metal utensils will
damage the surface.
•To clean the non-stick surface, turn the temperature control to the "0" setting, switch the power off
at the power outlet, unplug the cord and remove the temperature controller from the frypan.
CAUTION: the controller may be hot after use, in particular the metal probe, take care when removing it.
•The thermostat controller should not require cleaning, but if necessary, wipe externally with a slightly
damp cloth only. NEVER immerse the controller in water or any other liquid.
•Let the pan cool before washing it. NEVER PUT COLD WATER INTO A HOT FRYPAN as this may
cause the body to buckle.
•Wash the non-stick surface, both inside and out in clean warm water and mild detergent after each
use.
•If you do not clean the pan after use. it will result in a build-up of food residue, making it difficult to
clean later. The build up will also cause damage to the non-stick surface.
•Do not use steel wool products or scouring pads on the non-stick surface.
•To remove stubborn food residue, use a plastic mesh pad, or other available products stating they
are safe to use non-stick surfaces.
•To clean the glass lid, wash in warm soapy water, rinse with clean water and dry. Do not use steel
wool or scouring pads on the lid.
•Do not leave plastic or wooden utensils in the pan while it is hot or in use.
•Do not cut directly on the non-stick surface, this will damage the coating.
•Do NOT place the appliance, controller or lid in the dishwasher, hand wash only.
