Congratulations on your purchase of the De Rosa DRM316
Drum Kit by Bridgecraft, Inc. We suggest you take your time and
read over these set up instructions before you begin to assemble
your DRM316 Drum Kit.
1) Sort and Identify all your Parts
Find the spot where you are going to place your drum kit.
The best place to assemble your kit is
in the same area where you are going to be using
your kit. If you are going to put your kit on hardwood
or tile floor we suggest that you get a small area rug to
place your kit upon.
Open the box carefully and sort all the parts and match
them with the pictures provided. Parts List on page 3
2) Assemble the Bass Drum
Locate the BASS DRUM SHELL (A), the LUG BOLTS (L),
the DRUM KEY (K), the CLASP (C), the PLASTIC
WASHERS (W), 2 BASS DRUM SPURS (S),
1 TOM TOM ARM (TA), 2 BASS DRUM RIM (R),
2 BASS DRUM HEADS (H)
Place the BASS DRUM SHELL (A) on a flat surface face up.
When the BASS DRUM SHELL is face up the SPUR MOUNTS (1)
and CYMBAL MOUNT (2) will be close to the top.
Place the BASS DRUM HEAD (H) with the logo on top
of the BASS DRUM SHELL (A) and place the BASS DRUM RIM (R)
on top of the KICK DRUM HEAD (H). Align the logo on the
BASS DRUM HEAD (H) with the CYMBAL MOUNT (2) for an accurate
drum head position. Prepare the CLASP (C), LUG BOLTS (B)
and PLASTIC WASHER (W). Put the PLASTIC WASHER (W)
on to the LUG BOLT (L) and then add the CLASP (C).
Line up the CLASP (C) with the LUG (3) on the BASS DRUM SHELL (A)
and use the DRUM KEY (K) and loosely tighten.
Repeat this until all the CLASPS (C) and LUG BOLTS (L)
are in place. Slowly tighten each LUG BOLT (L) until
the BASS DRUM HEAD is taught. Do not over tighten.
The Pros put the same tension on each Clasp and Lug Bolt,
they check the tension by tapping on the Bass Drum Head and
hearing any difference in the pitch.
The higher the pitch the tighter the Lug Bolt.
Turn the BASS DRUM SHELL (A) over and repeat the same process.
3) Insert the Spurs
Insert the BASS DRUM SPRUS (S) into the SPUR MOUNTS (1).
The Bass Drum Spurs should be extended so the Bass Drum
Shell is slightly elevated off the floor about ½” and the tighten
into place so the Bass Drum Shell is stable and will not rock.

4) Mount the Tom Tom
Place the TOM TOM ARM (TA) into the TOM TOM MOUNT (4)
and tighten the wing nut loosely until you have decided
exactly where the TOM TOM (T) will rest.
Place the Tom Tom Extension Arm on the right side facing.
You can also place the Tom Tom Extension Arm
on the left side facing. This is a matter of preference.
Most of the Pros prefer the TOM TOM (T) on the right side facing.
Place the TOM TOM (T) on the Extension Arm loosely tighten the wing nut
and position the TOM TOM (T) in position. Once the TOM TOM (T)
is in the desired position tighten all the wing nuts.
5) Mount the Cymbal Arm
Place the CYMBAL ARM (CA) into the CYMBAL MOUNT (2)
and tighten the wing nut loosely until you have decided
exactly where the CYMBAL (CY) will rest.
Loosen the wing nuts on the CYMBAL ARM (CA) and remove the
Metal Washer and the 2 Cymbal Felt Washers.
Place 1 Cymbal Felt Washer onto the CYMBAL ARM (CA) and place
the CYMBAL (CY) on the Felt Washer. Place the remaining
Felt Washer on top of the CYMBAL (CY), then the Metal Washer on top
of the Felt Washer and hand tighten with the wing nut. Tighten
wing nut on the CYMBAL MOUNT (2) until secure
6) Setup the Snare Drum
Make sure the wing nuts on the SNARE STAND (SS) are loose. Slowly
open the SNARE STAND (SS) by pulling out the legs.
The 3 legs should be level on the floor and not over extended.
Tighten the wing nut securely on the tripod legs making sure the
stand is stable. Raise the neck of the stand to the approximate
height for your drummer and tighten the wing nut and securely
tighten this wing nut once you have the desired height.
Open the Snare Drum Stand Arms and rest
the SNARE DRUM (SD) on the stand. The stand should be stable.
You can adjust the SNARE DRUM (SD) sound by using the knob
on the side of the SNARE DRUM (SN). Don’t over tighten.
7) Put the Bass Pedal in Place
Now is the time to make sure you have placed the Drum Kit
exactly where you would like it. Loosen the wing nut on the
clamp so you can clamp the BASS PEDAL (P) to the
BASS DRUM RIM (R). Line up the mallet of the BASS PEDAL (P)
so it hits the BASS DRUM HEAD (H) squarely. Once you have it in
place tighten the wing nut on the clamp.

8) Set Up the Seat
We save the best for last.
Find the SEAT TOP (TO) and the SEAT STAND (TH) Make sure the wing
nuts on the SEAT STAND (TH) are loose and slowly pull the tripod legs
until the stand is in a stable position, Securely tighten the wing nut,
You can adjust the seat height using the neck of the stand. Loosen the
wing nuts and place the neck at the desired height and tighten securely.
Place the SEAT TOP (TO) onto the neck of the stand and tighten securely.
9) The Final Adjustments
You are done with the assembly and now you can make any final adjustments that best suit the drummer.
Have the drummer sit on the SEAT and make sure their feet are on the ground and that they are able to reach
the BASS PEDAL. Make sure the drummer is able to reach the TOM TOM and CYMBAL.
Make any adjustments that are necessary and let them rock out.
