Hydroponics Version
1. Hang Light from top of box using cable &
hooks.
2. Check the packing list & make sure you have
everything included.
3. Plug the fan & air pump* directly into a con-
stant power source (ie. Power strip plugged di-
rectly into your wall)
4. Insert air line through the included hole & at-
tach the air stone (place stone in the center of
the container)
5. Set the colored tub into the grow box & place
the lid on it.
6. Place squishy plugs (Organic Starter Plugs) into
2” net-pots & set inside the net pot.
7. Place one seed in each plug & ensure bottom
of plug reaches water line. (Plugs should stay
moist, but not soaking wet.)
8. Plug the LED Light into the timer & set for 18
hours on & 6 hours o.
9. Plug the timer directly into a constant power
source. (wait until your seeds sprout before tur-
ing the lights on)
10. Ensure the light, air pump, & fan is working
11. Use odor control provided once odors are no-
ticeable.
12. If you purchased the optional Co2 pad, then
hang it from door hook & spray lightly with
water aer your plants have real leaves.
13. Close & latch the door & start growing!
Soil Version
1. Follow instructions for Hydroponics Version
steps 1. through steps 3.
2. Add soil (not included) to your 1 gallon soil
pots.
3. Put the pots into the Grandma’s Secret Gar-
den with the drip pans under each pot.
4. Place your seeds into the brown starter plug,
& put them into the soil, lightly packing the
soil around them.
5. Water using straight distilled water, add
more soil if necessary.
6. Turn your lights on as soon as you can see
them begin to sprout.
• Test Ph of your nutrient solution.
Ideal Ph for most plants is between
5.5 & 6.5. Aim for 6.0 Ph for ideal
nutrient uptake. (never adjust PH in
the reservoir)
• Once a week, check water levels of
your reservoir. If low, top o with
pure water or a light fertilizer solu-
tion.
• Empty & spot clean reservoir every
7 days. Do a more detailed cleaning
in between grows. Use a light H2o2
(hydrogen peroxide) solution the -
nal week of owering, do not add
nutrients. Add either a light ushing
agent, otherwise pure water works
just ne.
