LET’S GET STARTED!
Battery Installation
1. Gently remove the STAND CLIP on the back of
the monitor to allow access to the BATTERY
COMPARTMENT COVER.
2. Slide the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER down
to remove.
3. Insert the battery with the words "Rechargeable
Battery" facing towards you.The battery connectors
should line up with the connectors inside the
battery compartment.
4. Slide the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER back into place and
reinstall the STAND CLIP.
Get the Most Out of Your Rechargeable Battery
• Fully charge battery (4 hours) before first use.
• To maximize battery life, charge battery before battery is fully drained.
• Avoid extreme heat or cold as this will affect the life of the battery.
• Turn LCD screen OFF; press POWER button on the front of the monitor ONCE.
• Phoenix™2.4"menu settings that increase battery life:
Power Save Mode:After 1 minute of inactivity,monitor enters standby/sleep mode.
Adjustable Brightness: Decreasing screen brightness will extend battery life.
Turn LCD screen OFF:press POWER button on the front of the monitor ONCE.
5. For extended periods of non-use,please remove battery from monitor.

Connecting Power to the Monitor / Charging Battery
1. Connect the small end of power adapter marked MONITOR
into the DC input on the side of the monitor as shown in
the diagram.
2. Connect the other end of the adapter into an available wall
outlet. For safety reasons, ONLY use the adapters included
in the package.
3. Press the POWER / VIDEO ON-OFF BUTTON.
4. The icon in the top right corner of the main screen will show
you the battery power status.

Turn on the MONITOR
Press and hold the POWER button on the front of the monitor.
Pairing the Camera(s) and Monitor
The camera and monitor come paired (connected) to each other automatically. However,if upon opening
this package the devices do not automatically connect and transmit,you may do so manually.
1. To pair your camera and monitor, press the MENU button. Using the navigational arrows +
–
on the front of the monitor, highlight the PAIRING icon and press the MENU button once
to select.
2. Use the navigational arrows +
–to select the icon.
3. Press MENU . When you see flashing next to camera icon,quickly press and hold the
PAIRING button on the side of the camera.A checkmark will appear next to camera
confirming pairing is successful.Video/audio will be transmitted automatically.
4. To pair additional cameras,repeat steps 1 to 3 and be sure to select camera number ,
or in the Pairing menu when pairing each additional camera.
Note: Before you begin pairing, be sure to have the monitor and the camera(s) side by side.

OPERATION
Placement of the Monitor
This monitor can be placed on a tabletop.
• You can place the monitor on a tabletop by using the retractable table stand on the
back of the monitor.When not in use,simply tuck the table stand away into the back
of the monitor until you hear a "click".
Placement of the Camera
This camera can be placed on a tabletop or hung on the wall above the
area being monitored.
• Place the camera within 15 feet of the area being monitored for best picture results.
• Do not place objects within 2 feet of the field of vision of the camera as the night vision will not
activate correctly if objects are too close.
Mounting the Camera on aTabletop Safely
To increase the downward viewing angle of the camera,please insert the included camera wedge to the
bottom of the camera (see below).
1. Place the camera on a tabletop no less than 3 feet away from area being monitored.
2. Feed the power cord down the back of the table or use wall clips (not included) to secure the cord
away so children cannot reach it.
3. Plug in the power cord,check the monitor to ensure that you are getting a clear view of the
area you are monitoring and there are no obstructions.

Mounting the Camera on a Wall Safely
Before drilling the holes, it is important to check the reception and camera positioning in the intended
location on the wall.
1. Pre-drill two holes in the wall using a 3/16”,4.8mm drill bit.
2. Insert wall anchors (not included) into each hole and tap gently with a hammer until the anchor is
flush with the wall.
3. Insert a screw (not included) into each wall anchor and tighten until the screws only stick out
about a 1/2 inch.
4. Plug the power cord into the power input of the camera.
5. Locate the wall mounting holes on the bottom of the camera base.
6. Slide the holes over the screws sticking out of the wall.
7. Confirm that the camera is secure,if it is loose you may have to tighten the screws more.
8. Use wall clips (not included) to secure the cord to prevent tripping and so children cannot reach it.
9. Connect the other end of the adapter into an available wall outlet.
OPERATION
Night Vision
The camera is equipped with NEW Invisible IR (infrared) LEDs which
keeps the room dark.The LEDs are located on the front of the camera
and allow you to see up to 12 feet in complete darkness allowing you
to monitor your room discretely in the dark without drawing attention to
your camera.The night vision LEDs will activate automatically when the
Light Sensor on the camera detects that the light levels are too low.
Adjusting the Camera Angle
The camera has a track built into the base.The track allows the camera to pivot UP and DOWN and turn
side to side.Always return the camera to the CENTER POSITION before changing the camera angle.

Volume
Use the navigational arrows +
–to increase / decrease / mute the VOLUME.
• Press the +button to INCREASE the volume in LIVE VIEW;
the VOLUME icon will display the volume level in the top
left corner of the screen.
• Press the –button to DECREASE the volume; to MUTE,
decrease the volume until the icon appears in the
top left corner of the screen.
Using the 2-WayTalk Intercom
With the simple press of a button you can communicate with family members,staff and visitors from
anywhere on your property.
1. To talk,press and hold the button on the front of the
monitor and release to listen.
2. To talk when using multiple cameras, select the camera in
the MENU and press the button,release to listen.
MONITOR
Using Power Save Mode
When in Power Save Mode,the monitor enters standby/sleep mode after 1 minute of inactivity.When
sound is detected,the screen changes to live view.There are 4 levels of sensitivity: Off Low ,
Medium and Sensitive .
• To access live view manually when the screen is off, press the POWER button ONCE.
• Power Save Mode extends the battery life over 72 hours.
1. To set Power Save Mode,press the MENU button.

monitor, highlight one of the Power Save Mode icons.
2. Use the +
–to toggle to the sensitivity icon of your choice
and press the MENU button once to select.
3. To return to continuous live view, press the MENU button.

Selecting a Different Camera View
1. To change the camera view, press the MENU button.
Using the navigational arrows +

monitor, highlight the CAMERA icon and press the
MENU button once to select.

–to select the CAMERA
icon of your choice and press the MENU button once
to select.
3. Select to cycle through cameras 1 through 4 and press the MENU button once.Each
camera view will appear for 6 seconds per camera.

Setting the Brightness
Brightness Mode sets the brightness of the screen.Reducing the brightness also extends the
battery life.
1. To set the Brightness Mode,press the MENU button.

MENU button once to select.
2. Use the navigational arrows +
–to select the desired
brightness and press the MENU button once to select.

Installation de la pile
1. Retirez doucement le CLIP DE SUPPORT à l’arrière
du moniteur pour permettre l’accès au couvercle du
COMPARTIMENT À PILE.
2. Glissez le couvercle du COMPARTIMENT À PILE vers le bas
pour l’enlever.
3. Insérez la pile avec les mots « Rechargeable Battery »
(pile rechargeable) face à vous.Les connecteurs de la pile
doivent être aligné avec les connecteurs à l’intérieur du
compartiment à piles.
4. Remettez le couvercle du compartiment à pile en place et réeinstallez le
CLIP DE SUPPORT.
Profitez pleinement de votre pile rechargeable
• Chargez complètement la pile (pour 4 heures) avant la première utilisation.
• Afin de maximiser l’autonomie de la pile,chargez la pile avant qu’elle soit
complètement déchargée.
• Évitez la chaleur ou le froid extrème car ceci aura un effet négatif sur l’autonomie de la pile.
• Éteignez l’écran ACL.Appuyez le bouton d’alimentation sur l’avant du moniteur UNE FOIS.
• Réglages du menu PHOENIX˜ 2,4po qui prolongent la vie de la pile:
Mode écono énergie:Après 1 minute d’inactivité,le moniteur passe en mode veille.
Luminosité réglable:Diminuer la luminosité de l’écran prolongera l’autonomie de la pile.
Éteignez l’écran ACL: appuyez le bouton d’alimentation sur le devant du moniteur une fois.
5. Pendant de longues périodes de non-utilisation,veuillez retirer la pile du moniteur.

Connexion de l’alimentation au moniteur / charger la pile
1. Branchez le petit bout de l’adaptateur marqué MONITEUR dans
l’entrée CC sur le côté droit du moniteur, comme indiqué sur le schéma.
2. Branchez l’autre bout de l’adaptateur dans une prise murale disponible.
Pour raisons de sécurité, utilisez SEULEMENT les adaptateurs inclus
dans la boîte.
3. Appuyez le bouton ALIMENTATION / VIDÉO MARCHE / ARRÊT .
4. L’icône dans le coin supérieur droit de l’écran principal indiquera
l’état actuel de la pile.

Allumer le MONITEUR
Appuyez et maintenez le bouton ALIMENTATION / VIDÉO MARCHE/ARRÊT sur la façade du moniteur.
Jumeler la / les caméras et le moniteur
La caméra et le moniteur sont jumelés (connecté) à l’autre automatiquement.Cependant,si les appareils
ne se connectent pas automatiquement et ne transmettent pas lorsque vous ouvrez la boîte,vous pouvez
faire le jumelage manuellement.
1. Pour jumeler votre caméra et moniteur, appuyez sur le bouton MENU . Utilisant les flèches de
navigation +
–sur le devant du moniteur, sélectionnez l’icône JUMELAGE et apuyez le
bouton MENU une fois pour confirmer votre sélection.
2. Utilisez les flèches de navigation +
–pour choisir l’icône .
3. Appuyez MENU . Lorsque vous voyez l’icône qui clignote à côté de l’icône ,appuyez
et maintenez,rapidement,le bouton JUMELAGE sur le côté de la caméra.Un crochet
apparaîtra à côté de la caméra confirmant que le jumelage est réussi.La vidéo et l’audio
seront transmis automatiquement.
4. Pour jumeler des caméras supplémentaires,répétez les étapes 1 à 3 et assurez-vous de choisir le
numéro de caméra , ou dans le menu JUMELAGE pour chaque caméra.
Note: Avant de commencer, assurez-vous que l’unité parent et la caméra sont côte à côte.

Placement du moniteur
Ce moniteur peut être placé sur une table.
• Vous pouvez placer le moniteur sur une table en utilisant le support rétractable
à l’arrière du moniteur. Lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé,il suffit de remettre le support
rentrant jusqu’à ce que vous entendez un «clic».
Placement de la caméra
Cette caméra peut être placée sur une table ou suspendu à une vis sur le mur au-dessus de la zone à
surveillée.
• Placez la caméra pas plus que 15 pieds de distance de la zone surveillée pour une qualité
d’image optimale.
• Ne placez pas d’objets à moins de 2 pieds en face de ou dans le champ de vision de la caméra
puisque la vision nocturne ne s’activera correctement si les objets sont trop près.
Installer la caméra sur une table en toute sécurité
Pour augmenter l’angle de vision de la caméra vers le bas, veuillez insérer la cale sur la base de la
caméra (voir ci-dessous).
1. Placez la caméra sur une table pas moins de 3 pieds de la zone à surveiller.
2. Passez le cordon d’alimentation à l’arrière de la table ou utilisez les clips mural (pas inclus) pour
fixer le cordon à l’écart de sorte que les enfants ne puissent pas l’atteindre.
3. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation,vérifiez l’écran pour vous assurer que vous avez un champ
de vision libre de la région que vous surveillez et qu’il n’y a pas d’obstacles.

Installer la caméra au mur en toute sécurité
Avant de percer les trous, il est important de vérifier la réception et le positionnement de la caméra
dans l’emplacement au mur prévu.
1. Percez deux trous d’avance à l’aide d’un foret de 3/16 po,4,8 mm.
2. Insérez les chevilles (pas inclus) dans chaque trou et donnez des petits coups légèrement avec
un marteau jusqu’à ce que la cheville est au ras du mur.
3. Insérez une vis (pas inclus) dans chaque cheville et serrez chaque vis laissant ½ po d’espace
pour suspendre la caméra.
4. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation dans l’entrée d’alimentation de la caméra.
5. Repérez les trous de fixation murale sur la base du support de la caméra.
6. Glissez les trous de fixation murale sur les vis qui sortent du mur.
7. Confirmez que la caméra est solide,si non, serrez les vis un peut plus.
8. Utilisez les clips mural (pas inclus) pour fixer le cordon à l’écart de la portée des enfants et pour
éviter de trébucher.
9. Connectez l’autre bout de l’adaptateur dans une prise murale disponible.
Vision nocturne
La caméra est équipée de nouveaux DEL IR (infrarouge) invisible, qui
gardent la salle sombre. Les DEL à l’avant de la caméra vous permet
de voir jusqu’à 12 pieds dans l’obscurité complète, afin de surveiller
la salle discrètement sans attirer de l’attention vers la caméra.Les DEL
de vision nocturne s’activent automatiquement lorsque le capteur de
lumière de la caméra détecte que la luminosité est trop faible.
Régler l’angle de la caméra
La caméra a une voie intégrée dans la base. La voie permet au point d’articulation de la caméra à
pivoter vers le HAUT et le BAS ou de tourner de GAUCHE à DROITE. Retournez toujours la caméra à la

–pour augmenter / réduire / couper le VOLUME.
• Appuyez le bouton +pour AUGMENTER le volume en
MODE D’AFFICHAGE; l’icône VOLUME affiche le
niveau du volume dans le coin supérieur gauche
de l’écran.
• Appuyez le bouton –pour RÉDUIRE le volume; pour
COUPER le son, réduit le volume jusqu’à ce que l’icône
s’affiche dans le coin supérieur gauche de l’écran.
Utiliser l’interphone à deux voies
En appuyant simplement sur un bouton,vous pouvez communiquer avec les membres de la famille,
le personnel et les visiteurs de n’importe où sur votre propriété.
1. Pour parler, appuyez et maintenir appuyé le bouton
sur le devant du moniteur et relâcher le bouton
pour écouter.
2. Pour parler lorsque vous utilisez plus qu’une caméra,
sélectionnez la caméra désirée dans le MENU et
appuyez le bouton , relâcher le bouton pour écouter.
Utiliser le mode économie énergie
En mode écono énergie,le moniteur passe en mode veille après 1 minute d’inactivité. Lorsqu’un son
est détecté, l’écran passe à la visualisation en direct. Il y a 4 niveaux de sensibilité: éteint bas
, moyen et haut .
• Pour accéder la visualisation en direct lorsque l’écran est éteint, appuyez le bouton
d’ALIMENTATION une fois.
• Le mode écono énergie prolonge la durée de la pile plus de 72 heures.
1. Pour régler le mode écono énergie, appuyez le bouton
MENU . Utilisant les flèches de navigation +
