
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing a De’Longhi product. Please take a
few minutes to read these instructions.This will avoid all risks
and damage to the appliance.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This appliance shall
not be installed
in bedrooms and
bathrooms.
- This is a ueless gas-
red heater. It uses
air (oxygen) from the
room in which it is
installed. Provisions
for adeguate
ventilation shall
be provided. Refer
to the following
instructions.
- Carbon monoxide
poisoning: Early signs of carbon
monoxide poisoning resemble u symptoms, wih
headaches, dizziness or nausea. If you have these
symptoms, the heater may not be working properly. Get
fresh air at once! Have the heater serviced. Some people
are more aected by carbon monoxide than others.
These include pregnant women, people with heart or
lung disease or anaemia, those under the inuence of
alcohol, and those high altitudes.
- The appliance exhausts combustion products into the
room where it is used.
The appliance has to be used therefore only in well
ventilated rooms with two permanent openings
communicating with the outside, each with a minimum
diameter of 12 cm (or in any case no smaller than 105
cm2, in compliance with the relevant local regulations).
The openings must be protected by grilles and located
one near the oor and the other near the ceiling.

annex D. It’s the installers’s responsbility to ensure the
verication of this requirement.
- Moisture levels inside the room where the appliance
is run can increase. Adequate ventilation of the room
would improve comfort level.
- The appliance MUST NOT be used in top oor ats,
basements, bathrooms, bedrooms or any other room
with a volume of less than 42m3(24m3in the case of
sitting rooms).
- Make sure the appliance is installed in compliance with
current regulations.
- Do not install the appliance in rooms which might
contain gas, petrol or sulphur. Do not install near sources
of heat.
- Do not use on vehicles such as caravans or camper vans.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
- Respect the following safety distances from the walls:
20 cm from the sides, 150 cm from the front.
- USE THE APPLIANCE ON A FLAT FLOOR ONLY.
- DO NOT REPLACE THE GAS CYLINDER INTHE PRESENCE OF
NAKED FLAMES.
- NEVER USE MATCHES OR NAKED FLAMES TO LOCATE A
GAS LEAK.
- The grille is designed to prevent the risk of re or
burns. None of its components should be permanently
removed. The grille does not guarantee total protection
for children or disabled people.
- Make sure the rear panel protecting the gas cylinder is
correctly in place before lighting the heater. Do not use
the heater without the rear panel.
