Cleaning and Maintenance
•Always pull out the main plug before any cleaning
operation and allow the appliance to cool down.
•Never dip the appliance into water or hold it
under running water.
•Wipe down the casing with a moist cloth only.
•On models WR25-45 remove the plates for
cleaning after they have cooled down.
•The plates are the only detachable parts that can be
cleaned separately (on models WR25-45).
Use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning
detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
•Never use sharp or pointed objects or any
abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning purpos-
es.
•DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.
Basic recipe
Basic batter for 6/8 persons (the ingredients and
quantities can be varied to suit individual tastes
and the number of waffles required).
Ingredients: 200g flour, 175g castor sugar, 60g
milk, 3 eggs, 175g butter (melted), 1 teaspoon
vanilla essence, salt
Preparation: blend the butter and sugar together
in a bowl, add the flour, vanilla, milk and egg
yolks and mix well with an electric whisk.
Whisk the egg whites separately with a pinch of
salt until stiff, then fold delicately into the mixture
prepared previously.
Pour the batter onto the preheated plates and fol-
low the instructions on page 4.
Safety Warnings
•The appliance is exclusively for the use for
which it has been manufactured. Any other
use is to be considered inappropriate and
therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot
be held responsible for eventual damage
caused by inappropriate, improper or irre-
sponsible use and/or for repairs made to the
product by unauthorised personnel.
•After having removed the appliance from the
packaging, make sure that the product is com-
plete and in perfect condition.
•The plastic bag in which the appliance was
packaged should be kept out of reach of chil-
dren as it poses a suffocation hazard.
•In order to remove the dust that may have
accumulated on the appliance, simply dust it
off with a soft cloth.
•Place the appliance on a horizontal surface at a
height of at least 85 cm and out of reach of chil-
dren.
•Before inserting the plug into the electrical out-
let, make certain:
-the voltage of the outlet corresponds to the
value indicated on the information label,
attached to the appliance.
-the electrical outlet is adequately earthed.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility
for the lack of observation of this norm.
•In the case of incompatibility between the out-
let and the plug of the appliance, have it
replaced by a qualified technician. The use of
adapters, multiple socket units and/or exten-
sion cords is not recommended. Whenever it
may be necessary to use such equipment, it is
advisable to use only simple or multiple
adapters or extension cords which comply with
the current safety standards, and make sure not
to exceed the voltage limit of the adapter or
extension cord.
•When the appliance is plugged into the electri-
cal outlet, and moreover, while it is turned on,
ensure that fingers do not come into contact
with the plates.
•Before using for the first time, operate the
appliance empty with the thermostat at maxi-
mum for at least 15 minutes to eliminate the
"new" smell and any smoke caused by the
