IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Waffle Maker, basic safety precautions should always be
followed:
Always operate your KYOWA Waffle Maker from a power source of the
same voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating label.
Connect the Waffle Maker unit only to properly wired wall outlets.
Do not use waffle maker in damp or wet area. Keep dry the exterior and
the base of the unit.
Do not place the waffle maker on uneven surfaces. Place upon a flat area
surface.
Do not operate or place any part of your KYOWA Waffle Maker on or near
any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated oven.
Do not operate the waffle maker if any part of it has been damaged.
Return the appliance to the nearest authorized dealer or service facility
for repair.
Do not use or replace accessories other than the ones originally provided.
Never leave the Waffle Maker unattended when in use.
Avoid touching hot surfaces of the Waffle Maker during use. Use the
cover or handle only.
Hold plug when unplugging from socket. Do not unplug by pulling the
supply cord.
Switch OFF and unplug the Waffle Maker from outlet before filling,
emptying, when not in use or before cleaning.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the waffle
maker to rain, moisture or any liquid.
Keep out of reach from children or from persons with mental or physical
disabilities.
This KYOWA Waffle Maker is intended for normal domestic/household use
only. This unit is not suitable for commercial use.

Before using for the first time, kindly take time to carefully read your
instruction manual. Please observe all safety precautions and follow
operating procedures. After reading, kindly store your instruction manual in
a safe place for your future reference. Should you pass on this Waffle
Maker to a third party, please hand over this instruction manual as well.

HOW TO USE
Insert plug into the power supply. The Power ON Light indicates that the
unit is turned ON.
Wait for about five minutes or until the Ready Lamp lights up indicating
that the unit is ready to use.
Fill Baking Plates with the prepared mixture for the waffle.
Close waffle maker by pushing down the handle. Make sure that the
Handle Clip is properly locked in place.
While cooking, you may check if the waffle is already cooked by opening
the cover of the unit. If you need to extend cooking time, just push down
the handle of the unit to cover the waffle.
Remove waffle from the waffle maker using a wooden spatula. Do not use
any kind of sharp or metallic objects.
CLEAN AND CARE
Allow Waffle Maker to cool down completely before cleaning.
Clean housing of the waffle maker by wiping with a soft, damp cloth.
Wash Toasting Plates using warm soapy water.
Do not use harsh cleaning agents or abrasive objects (e.g. scrubbing pads
or metal brushes) for cleaning.
Wipe dry the waffle maker with a soft, dry cloth.
Put back parts and accessories of the unit to their proper places before
operating again.
Store unit in a cool and dry place.
SERVICE
Do not operate your KYOWA Waffle Maker if the unit malfunctions or
appears damaged in any manner. Bring the complete product to the place
of purchase or to any authorized KYOWA dealers for inspection, repair or
replacement.
Do not disassemble your KYOWA Waffle Maker by yourself. No user
serviceable parts inside. Refer all needed repair to an authorized KYOWA
service facility ONLY.
