the functions and step-by-step procedures for use.
Delta Radio Group was established in 2005 with the aim of providing high-quality two-way radios and
accessories that are capable of withstanding the harsh environments that radios can be exposed to.

GETTING ACQUAINTED
Charging the Battery Pack
1. The battery pack is not charged at the factory; Please charge it before using. After
purchasing or long-time storage (more than two months), the battery cannot reach its
normal capacity when charge the rst time. After charging 2-3 times then the capacity
reaches the normal one.
2. Plug the Charger power cable into an AC outlet. Insert the battery pack or transceiver with a
battery pack into the charger. Make sure the battery pack contact with the charging
terminals correctly. The charger LED lights on and charging begins, the charge completes
when charging light turns green.
NOTE:
Do not recharge the battery pack if it is already fully charged. Otherwise, the battery life will be
shortened or damaged.
*Always switch OFF the transceiver equipped with a battery pack before charging. Using the
transceiver while charging will interfere with correct charging.
*Even after completely correct charge, the using time still not increases, then the battery life is
over, please replace the battery.
INSTALL/REMOVE BATTERY PACK
When install the battery pack, should match the corresponding location of aluminium frame of
transceiver backside, then push into the battery towards direction. The Buckles on the tail of
battery would fasten the battery pack, until can hear "clicking" sound.
To remove the battery pack, please turn off the transceiver rst. Then press the buckles of the
battery, at the same time, the battery will be pushed back, take the battery away;

Installing the Belt Clip
The supplied xed belt clips can be attached to your needs for easy carrying.
Headphone jack / computer programming jack
Use computer programming software to operate (computer programming software
and local dealers to consult).
Note: To reprogram your Delta mini contact your authorised dealer
Keyboard: Used for related function operations.
[Up keypad] In standby mode: short press: volume increase, long press: function optional (selected
by program software)
[Down keypad] In standby mode: short press: volume down, long press: button lock switch
[Menu&ON/OFF keypad] Short press: enter the menu, press and hold for 3 seconds, power on/off
the radio
[PTT button] press the PTT button to communication, release to reception.
OPERATION
Turn on/off the radio: Long press 3 seconds [Menu&ON/OFF keypad] key to turn on the power of
radio; after booting, long press 3 seconds [Menu&ON/OFF keypad] key again to turn off the radio
Choose Channel:
In standby mode short press (0/M button),enter to channel and the LCD will display "CH" ,then
short press (+/- button) choose channel, then press{PTT button) conrm channel.
PTT button launch:
Press (PTT button) and speaking in a normal voice (red light on launch), at the end of call, release
(PTT button), waiting to receive.
Open, close button lock:
In the standby mode, long press (-button) two seconds, switch button lock open/close.
In the standby mode, short press (O/M button}
Keypad lock:
Long press "-" button with 3 seconds, lock the keypad, only volume plus or minus can be used
after locking then long press with 3 seconds will be unlock.
Vibration function open:
When the vibration function is on, if there is no call within one minute, someone will call again, the
vibration time is three seconds.
Charger
1. Charge through the USB port of this unit, please turn off the power rst.
2. When charging via the USB of this unit, the PTT indicator in red, vibration and prompt tone
charging, and the PTT indicator turns green after charging is completed.

MENU OPERATIONS
In the standby mode, press the [Menu & ON/OFF keypad] to enter the menu mode.
1. Press the [Up keypad] [Down keypad] to select the menu item, press the
[Menu & ON/OFF keypad] to enter the option.
2. Press the [Up keypad] [Down keypad] to select the setting, and nally press the
[Menu & ON/OFF keypad] to conrm and return to standby mode.

PC program frequency function
1. Use the specied program cable, connect the COM communication port of the computer
and the SP/MIC jack, turn on the radio.
2. After turning on the computer, run the programming software.
3. Set the frequency and other functions. Select the writing class under the programming
main menu to complete the desired function.
4. Select the reading frequency under the programming main menu to read the setting
of the intercom.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Problem
Solution
No power
1. Battery may run out of power, please update
the battery, or recharge the battery.
2. The battery pack may not be installed correctly.
Remove the battery pack and install it again.
Battery power off shortly after
charging
The battery pack life is over. Replace the battery pack
with a new one.
Can not talk to or hear other
members in your group
1. Make sure you are using the same frequency and
Quiet Talk tone as the other members in your
group.
2. Other group members may be too far away. Make
sure you are within the working range of the
transceivers.
Other voices (besides group
members) are present on the
channel
Contact your supplier to Change the Quiet Talk tone. Be
sure to change the tone on all transceivers in your group.
