ofscanningchannelsislessthan2,youcannotdeleteanychannel,

Afterexitingscanningmodeandenteringitagain,thetemporarily
deletedchannelwillbeaddedinthescanninglistagain.
CTCSS/DCScanrealizeselectivecallsandgroupcalls.Onthe
samechannel,onlythetwopartieswhoseCTCSS/DCSare
identicalcancommunicate.CTCSS/DCSsignalingcodeonthe
channelispreset.
Thepurposeofthetime-outtimeristopreventanysingleperson
fromoverlongusingachanneltotransmitandaffectingthewhole
groupcommunication.
IftheradiotransmitslongerthanthepresetTOTtimelimit,theradio
willstoptransmittingandwarningtonesounds.Tostopthewarning
tone,releasethePTTbutton.PressthePTTagainyoucanresume
transmitting.
Youcansetthetimewhentheradiogeneratesa"Pre-Alerttone",
beforetheTOT(TimeOutTimer)expires.TOTwillexpirewhenthe
selectedtimepassesafteraPre-AlertTone.
TOTRekey-Timesetsthe"penalty"timeinwhichtheradiocannot
bere-keyedfortransmittingaftertheTimeOutTimersettingis
exceeded.DuringtheRekeytime,ifyoupressPTT,warningtone
soundsandtransmissionisprohibited.
TOTResetTimesetstheminimum"wait"timeallowedbetween
transmissionsthatwillresettheTimeOutTimer.Aftersettingthis,

Thepurposeofthesquelchistomutethespeakernoisewhenno
signalsarereceivedorthesignalsareweak.Whenthesquelchis
activated,youcanhearnoisefromthespeaker;whenthesquelch
isinactivated,youwillnothearnoiseformthespeaker.Selecting
thesquelchlevelistoselectwhichthesignalstrengthlevelis
strongenoughtoenablethesquelchorweakenoughtodisablethe
squelch.Overhighsquelchlevelwillmaketheradiounableto
