REMOTE CONTROL REMOTE CONTROL
NOTE: Use 2 LR03 AAA (1.5volt) batteries.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Replace
batteries with new ones of the same type
when the display becomes dim.
CAUTION
For appropriate signal transmission between remote control and indoor
unit, keep the signal receiver away from the following items:
• Direct sunlight or other strong lights or heat
• Flat panel television screen or other electrical appliances that react to
the remote control
Additionally, the air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or other
materials block the signals from the remote control to the indoor unit. If
the signal may not be transmitted properly, either move these materials or
consult your local dealer.
NOTE:
The remote control transmits signals to the system.

MODE
Press this button to select the operation mode.
TIMER ON / CLOCK
Used to set or cancel the timer operation.
Used to set the current time.
SWING
Adjust vertical (up/down) air ow.
QUIET
Used to set or cancel Quiet Mode operation.
ECO
Used to set or cancel Economy Mode operation.
iFEEL
Used to set or cancel iFeel Mode. In iFeel mode, the
air conditioner operates basis temperature sensor
tted in remote instead of machine. When using
iFeel you should place the remote control where it
will receive the signal easily.
CLEAN (Not available)
Used to set the Clean operation.
8°C HEAT
Used to start or stop 8°C Heat Mode.
SLEEP / DIMMER
Used to set or cancel Sleep Mode operation.
Press this button for about 5 seconds to start
Dimmer mode, press this button for about
5 seconds once again to stop it.
AI SMART
Used to enter Articial Intelligence
Smart Running Mode.
FAN / LOCK
Used to select fan speed in sequence: auto,
higher, high, medium, low and lower. Press this
button for about 5 seconds to start Lock mode.
Press this button for about 5 seconds once again
to stop it.
SUPER
Used to start or stop the fast cooling/heating.
(Fast cooling operates at high fan speed with
61°F/16°C set temp automatically; Fast heating
operates at auto fan speed with 86°F/30°C set
temp automatically.)
POWER
The appliance will be started when it is energized
or will be stopped when it is in operation, if you
press this button.
TIMER OFF
Used to set or cancel the Timer operation.
SWING
Adjust horizontal (left/right) air ow.
TEMP + -
Used to adjust the set temperature and the timer,
also real time.
NOTE:
Press -and MODE at same time to
toggle between °C to °F.
HOW TO INSERT THE BATTERIES

Remove the battery cover according to the
arrow direction.

Insert new batteries making sure that the
(+) and (-) of battery are matched correctly.

Reattach the cover by sliding it back
into position.

The remote control may be stored mounted on a
wall with a holder.
TIPS & REGULATIONS FOR USING REMOTE CONTROL
To operate the room air conditioner, aim the remote control to the signal receptor. The remote control will
operate the air conditioner at a distance of up to 21ft/7m when pointing at signal receptor of indoor unit.

OPERATION MODE

Cooling, Dry Horizontal
Heating, Fan Only Downward
Do not turn the vertical adjustment louvers manually, otherwise
malfunction may occur. If that happens, turn o the unit rst and
cut o the power supply. Wait three minutes to allow compressor
to fully stop, then restore power supply.
To prevent condensed water from dripping from indoor unit, do
not use downward tilted louver position for long periods of time.
AI SMART MODE
HOW TO SET AI SMART MODE
Press the button.
Result: Enters AI SMART mode
When in AI SMART mode, you can press the “+”
and “-” button to change the temperature setting
(setting range is -7ºC to 7ºF).
NOTE:
are not available.
HOW TO CANCEL THE AI SMART MODE
Press the button.
Result: The AI SMART mode will be canceled.
QUIET MODE
In this mode, system will run the fan and
compressor on a lower frequency for a quieter
performance.
Press button once to start QUIET mode.
Result: The Quiet indicator appears on the display
NOTE:
Press QUIET MODE, FAN SPEED, SMART,
SUPER or ON/OFF button to cancel QUIET mode.

HOW TO ADJUST THE REAL TIME

Press the CLOCK button for about 5 seconds.
Result:

Press “+” and “-” buttons.
Result: Press for 1 second to increase or
decrease the timer in 1 minute intervals.
Hold for 1.5 seconds to increase or decrease
the timer in 10 minute intervals.
Hold for about 2 seconds to increase or
decrease the timer in 1 hour intervals.

Press the CLOCK button once again.
Result: The real time is set.
LOCK MODE
Press button for about 5 seconds to
start LOCK mode. The lock indicator appears
on the display.
Press button for about 5 seconds once
again to stop LOCK mode. The lock indicator
disappears.
HOW TO CANCEL SUPER MODE
Press SUPER MODE, FAN SPEED, ON/OFF or
SLEEP button.
Result: The display will return to the original mode.
Escape from SUPER mode.
SUPER MODE
SUPER mode is used to start or stop fast cooling
or heating, but only when the unit is on.
SUPER mode can be set when the appliance is in
operation or energized.

working in SUPER mode for 15 minutes , if you
don’t escape from it by pressing any of the
buttons mentioned above.
TIMER MODE
The TIMER MODE can be set to turn the system
ON at a set time, then turn OFF at a set time within
the same 24 hour interval.
TIMER ON and TIMER OFF functions can also be
used independently.
HOW TO SET TIMER ON

Result:

Result: Press for 1 second to increase or
decrease the timer in 1 minute intervals.
Hold for 1.5 seconds to increase or decrease
the timer in 10 minute intervals.
Hold for about 2 seconds to increase or
decrease the timer in 1 hour intervals.

8°C HEAT MODE
HOW TO SET THE 8°C HEATING
Press the 8°C HEAT button at the heating mode.
In 8°C HEAT mode, the fan speed is set at “AUTO”
automatically.
The 8°C HEAT mode will be started when you
press 8°C HEAT button at the heating mode.
If you press any button except for iFEEL,
TIMER ON, TIMER OFF, CLOCK, SWING and
escape from 8°C HEAT mode. Then the display
will disappear and the 8°C HEATING mode will
be cancelled.
NOTE: In 8°C HEATING mode, the default
temperature is set
46°F/8°C
.
8°C HEATING mode can be set only when the
air conditioner works in the heating mode.
NOTE: 8°C HEATING mode can be used to help
keep areas that do not need to be fully heated
above freezing temperatures.

SLEEP MODE
SLEEP mode can be set in COOLING,HEATING
or DRYING mode.
This function gives you a more comfortable
environment for sleep.
• The appliance will automatically stop after it
has been operating for 8 hours.
• Fan speed is automatically set at low speed.
HOW TO SET SLEEP MODE
Each time button is pressed.
Result: The operation mode is changed in
sequence:
SLEEP MODE 1:
Cool Mode: Set temperature will increase
Heat Mode: Set temperature will decrease
iFEEL MODE
iFEEL mode can read the current room ambient
temperature by using a sensor built into the
remote control. The system will automatically
adjust to keep all areas of the room at the same
temperature.
NOTE: iFEEL mode function works best if
the remote control is placed on the opposite
side of the room as the indoor unit and out of
NOTE: Remote must still be within an
unblocked 21ft/7m signal receiving range to
communicate with indoor unit.
HOW TO SET iFEEL MODE
Press the iFeel button once.
Result: The transmit signal in the display will
appear, the iFeel function will be started.
NOTE: The default setting is iFeel inactive.
HOW TO CANCEL iFEEL MODE
Press the iFeel button once.
Result:
SLEEP MODE 2:
Cool Mode: Set temperature will increase
1°F/1°C after 6 hours, decrease by 1°F/1°C
after 7 hours. Temperature will then stay
Heat mode: Set temperature will decrease
2°F/2°C after 2 hours, increase 1°F/1°C after
6 hours, increase 1°F/1°C after 7 hours.
Temperature will then stay steady until
SLEEP MODE 3:
Cool Mode: Set temperature will increase 1°F/1°C
after 1 hour, increase by 2°F/2°C after 2 hours,
decrease 2°F/2°C after 6 hours, decrease 1°F/1°C
after 7 hours. Temperature will then stay steady
Heat mode: Set temperature will decrease
2°F/2°C after 1 hour, decrease by 2°F/2°C after
2 hours, increase 2°F/2°C after 6 hours, increase
1°F/1°C after 7 hours. Temperature will then stay
SLEEP MODE 4:
Set temperature will stay steady.
NOTE: Press SUPER, SMART MODE, ON/OFF
or FAN SPEED button cancel SLEEP mode.
By pressing “Sleep button” four times, or
selecting other modes like SUPER, SMART,
or FAN SPEED, you could cancel the sleeping
function of those units.
NOTE:
a received signal from remote will turn the
light back on.
DIMMER BUTTON
Press the button for about 5 seconds to
ECO MODE
In this mode, air conditioner will run the fan and
compressor on lowest frequency to save energy.
Press ECO button for about 3 seconds to start
ECO mode.
Result:
The indicator appears on the display.
Fan speed will be auto set to low.
AI SMART mode.
Press ON/OFF MODE, TEMP +, TEMP -,
FAN SPEED, SLEEP, QUIET or ECO button
to cancel ECO Mode.
Pressing ECO button for 1 second turns on
HI-NANO indicator, this feature is not available.
