Instructions for use:
Place the waffle maker on flat surface. Turn it on by plugging the cord into the wall outlet. Preheat the waffle maker in the
closed position about 6-8 minutes. Longer preheating with the closed grids is forbidden. Before pouring batter onto grids, apply
coating of grease (e.g. vegetable oil) with brush with fine fibers.Onto preheated bottom part of the grids pour the appropriate
amount of batter, but not too much, because there is a risk of overflowing of the batter from the appliance.
After pouring the batter, close the lid as soon as possible. After 4-6 minutes, open the appliance and take out the finished
waffles, preferably with wooden sticks. Use of metal utensils can damage the Teflon coating. Once baking is completed unplug
the appliance and let it cool down.
Do not open the waffle maker in the initial phase of baking because it can damage the waffles. You can check the baking process
only when the amount of steam is visibly lower or when the upper plate is lowered down. First time you use the waffle maker, it
may smoke a bit. This is normal, it is caused by burning up of technological remains and it does not cause any damage. When the
appliance preheats or cools down, you may hear crackling, that is also completely normal, it is caused by thermal expansion of
components.
Maintenance of the appliance:
All maintenance can be carried out only after turning off the appliance and when it is completely cool. When
the baking is done it is necessary to remove crumbs using paper towel or a soft cloth. Due to the possibility of
damage of the Teflon coating it is not allowed to use sharp utensils and aggressive cleaning detergents.
Damaged Teflon coating causes burning of batter and makes baking impossible.
