1. Remove Tripod Assembly (1)
a. Extend leg segments by pulling up cam levers – Press levers back into
place when fully extended
2. Select Antenna to be used
a. Omni Directional (2) – Most commonly used
b. Directional Antenna (3) – To be used only when carrier tower location is
known and clear line of sight can be accomplished without any barriers
between user’s location and carrier tower.
i. Unscrew Knobs located in the back of the antenna and place
them through the mount holes on Directional Antenna Mount (3a)
3. Based on antenna selected, terminate correlating Coax Extension Cable to
antenna
a. Omni-Directional Antenna utilizes 30' SMA-Female to SMA-Male (4)
b. Directional Antenna utilizes 50' N-Male to SMA-Male extension cable (5)
4. Locate the Antenna Mount (6) and the Tether Ring Disc (7).
a. Loosen Antenna Mount Retention Knob (6a) and remove Antenna Mount
(6)
b. Place the Tether Ring Disc onto the Tripod Head/Antenna Mount by
placing it over the threaded stud
5. Screw Disc/Mount Assembly into the bottom of the antenna mount you are
using.
6. Return Antenna Mount back into Tripod and tighten Antenna Mount Retention
Knob (6a).
7. Locate three Tie Down Cords (8) and place the tie down tether hooks (opposite
side of pulley system) through the holes on the Tether Ring Disc (7).
8. Loosen the Antenna Column Retention Knob (9), pull Antenna Column (10)
upwards until fully extended, re-tighten Antenna Column Retention Knob.
9. Loosen Elevating Column Retention Knob (11). Turn Elevating Column Crank (12)
clockwise to extend the Tripod Elevating Column (13) to its full elevation; re-
tighten Elevating Column Retention Knob (11).
10. If on soft terrain, step on each of the Tripod Leg Spikes (1a) to firmly seat the
tripod.
11. Tie Down Stakes (14)
a. Screw or pound Tie Down Stakes into the ground in a circle around the
