1. Overview
The Ethernet to Wi-Fi Adapter can be used to eliminate the use of an ethernet cable to connect to a network.
This type of device relies on DHCP relaying, which requires the use of a static IP on some networks.
2. Setup
2.1. IOGEAR GWU37
Refer to the IOGEAR GWU37 User Manual to configure the adapter using WPS or Windows.

DTM-500 example
2.2. DHCP –default setup
2.2.1. DTM-500
Apply power to the DTM-500, without connecting the ethernet cable.
Log into the OSD.
Select the Basic Info icon to display the default static IP address.
The default is typically 192.168.13.1.
Exit the Basic Info screen.
Connect the DTM-500 to the IOGEAR ethernet to Wi-Fi adapter.
Allow 1-2 minutes for the network to assign an IP address.
Select the Basic Info icon to confirm the network has assigned an IP address.
Note the IP address, this will be used with the Web Portal and Guard Station.
In the event an IP address has not been assigned, a static IP address will be required.
2.2.2. DTM-600
Apply power to the DTM-600 without connecting the ethernet cable.
Note the IP address displayed at the bottom left hand corner of the OSD.
Connect the DTM-600 to the IOGEAR ethernet to Wi-Fi adapter.
Allow 1-2 minutes for the network to assign an IP address.
The IP address displayed at the bottom left hand corner of the OSD will have update from the default static IP.
Note the IP address, this will be used with the Web Portal and Guard Station.
In the event an IP address has not been assigned, a static IP address will be required.
