As the original purchaser of this product, you receive these warranties from Digital Foci,
Inc.
Your Image Moments (hereafter referred to as “Device”) will be free from defects in
material and workmanship and will perform in substantial compliance with your user
documentation accompanying the Device for 1 year from the purchase date providing
proper use of the Device.
Your warranty rights will be honored so long as you read and follow your user
documentation for all aspects of operating the Device. Any unauthorized or improper use of
the Device may cause your warranty to become void.
If there is a problem or defect with your Device, please contact Digital Foci, Inc.

This limited warranty is the only warranty Digital Foci, Inc. makes for the Device. To the
extent allowed by Law, no other warranty applies, whether expressed, implied, or statutory,
including any warranty of merchantability, of fitness for a particular purpose, or of
non-infringement. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, wear and tear, or
consequential or incidental loss. Under no conditions is Digital Foci, Inc. liable for loss of

Caring for Image Moments
To keep Image Moments in good condition and working properly,
follow these basic guidelines:
•Do not drop, jar, bump, shock or expose Image Moments to
severe vibration.
•Do not operate or store Image Moments in dusty environments.
•Do not leave Image Moments under direct sunlight, in a parked
car, or in other situations where the temperature may be above
140°F (60°C).
•To prevent risk of heat buildup, place Image Moments in a well
ventilated location.
•To prevent risk of short circuit and damage, do not expose Image
Moments to liquids, precipitation, or moisture.
•To avoid bodily injury or damage to internal components, do not
take apart Image Moments.
•Never force insertion of the memory card if it does not insert
smoothly. Instead, examine to see if the memory card orientation
and slot is correct.
•Do not leave Image Moments running unattended.
•Use only power adapters and cords provided by the manufacturer.
Warning:As with any electrical device, Image Moments will become warm after
prolonged periods of use. If you notice that Image Moments becomes excessively hot,
power-off Image Moments and allow it to cool down before resuming use.

2.2. Getting Image Moments Ready for Use
2.2.1. Attaching the leg
Locate the detachable leg from the packaging and screw it into the
detachable leg port on the back side of Image Moments just under the
middle part that slightly sticks out.
2.2.2. Powering Image Moments
After the detachable leg is securely attached to Image Moments, plug the
AC adapter to the AC Adapter Jack on the back of Image Moments.
Next, connect the power plug of the AC adapter to a wall socket.
Now you can power on Image Moments by flipping the Power Switch to
the up position.
2.2.3. Preparing the remote control
The remote control is packaged with a protective tab between the battery
and battery terminal.
Activate the battery by pulling on the tab that separates the battery from
the battery terminal. After this tab is removed, the remote control is ready
for use.

Change the effect of the files being played.
Photo Mode:
Change the photo slideshow transition effect.
Music Mode:
Change the equalizer effect.
Slide Interval Select Change the slide interval timing of the photo
slideshow.
Control Pad
Control the main function of Image Moments.
Directional buttons:
Move cursor up, down, left, and right.
Play/Pause button:
Play/pause or select highlighted file.
Stop:
Stop playing selected file or return to the
previous navigation level.

2.4. Inserting Memory Cards
Insert your memory cards in the designated memory card slot with the
label side facing the front as demonstrated in the following drawing.
Warning:Do not force the memory card in the slot if it does not slide in smoothly.
Instead, remove the card, check the card orientation and slot, and try again.

2.5. Selecting from Multiple Memory Cards
When more than one memory card is inserted in Image Moments, you can
choose which card to access by navigating to the Mode Select screen (See
Section 3 for details about the Mode Select screen.) and pressing the
CARD button on the remote control.
When the CARD button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed:
Use the Control Pad to choose the memory card you want to access and
press PLAY/PAUSE to select the highlighted memory card.

2.6. Adjusting the Video Settings
To access the Video Settings, press the Menu button on the top of Image
Moments. This will display the Video Settings menu on the Image
Moments screen.
Press the Select UP/DN buttons to navigate the highlight up and down.
Press Menu again to select highlighted item.
Next use the Value +/- button to increase and decrease the value of the
setting. The effect of your adjustments will be visible on the screen in
real-time.
The Video Setting will disappear automatically after a few seconds of
inactivity.

2.7. Setting the Volume
There are 2 volume settings on Image Moments.
The first setting is the base volume setting that determines the maximum
volume range for Image Moments. You can adjust this setting by pressing
the +/- buttons under Value on the top of Image Moments. The maximum
base volume setting is 100.
The second setting is the in-use volume setting that sets the actual playing
volume within the range determined by the base volume setting. You can
adjust this setting by pressing the VOLUME buttons on the remote control.
The maximum in-use volume setting is 16.
Example:If the remote control volume setting is at the maximum, 16, and
you still would like to increase the volume level, press the + button under
Value on the top of Image Moments.

3. Basic Operation Modes
The diagram below shows the Mode Select screen on Image Moments.
From this screen, you can use the Control Pad to select the desired mode.
To navigate to the Mode Select screen, press STOP on the remote control
until the Mode Select screen appears.
Note:You can use the PHOTO, MUSIC, VIDEO, and FILE mode select buttons on the
remote control to access each mode directly.

3.1. Photo Mode
When Photo Mode is selected, Image Moments will scan through the
selected memory card and show only the JPEG photo files. All of the
JPEG photo files on the memory card will be listed in alphabetical order
regardless of their folder location on the memory card.
In Photo Mode there are 2 display modes:
Photo Thumbnail Display and Photo Display
Photo Thumbnail Display
In Photo Thumbnail Display mode, you can view thumbnail images of
your photos on a display that shows 9 thumbnails per page.
•Use the Control Pad buttons to navigate the cursor over the
thumbnails.
•Press PLAY/PAUSE on the highlighted thumbnail to view the photo.
•Press DISPLAY to show file information.
•Press PREV or NEXT to jump to the previous or next page of
thumbnails.
•Press SLIDESHOW to start the Music Slideshow Mode.
•Press STOP to return to the Mode Select screen.
